6.5 Grendel

Anyone have one?  You like it?  Do gun shops on oahu even carry this ammo on a regular basis?  I was thinking of maybe building something in this caliber after my 5.56 build is done as a cool alternative to .308.

Thats a rich mans cartridge. A few shops carry it. What type of rifle are you using?  6.8 is more common and the punch is similsr. What is the application?

i prefer 7.62x39 with handloads. You can get the same performance. (handloads guys not off the shelf junk) If you want the same fps go to a lighter bullet. But then again it depends on application.

Not any practical application other than being "different" lol.

Hahaha OK.

Back in the day i always made wildcats. The problem is when it come time to sell them it is hard to find a buyer.  At least they have dies for the 6.5 gren.
