Aloha macsak,   Can I pattern my shotgun during the open shoot?  Basically want to shoot at paper from 16 - 25 yards using a 12 gauge.  What kind of target stands can I use?  Thanks!  :shaka:

No mention of an optic requirement.  Iron sights should be fine, right?

we have a target array set up at 12-15 yards
you cannot shoot further than that because you have to shoot at the same line as everyone else
we have stands that you can use 1x2s to staple cardboard to, but you could only put them a couple yards beyond the target array, and they are narrow (like a rifle stand width)

Only 1 rifle that I need to test out to function test.  Oh and a new 17L test build that needs to be finished.  The others already work good.  Also I don't have irons,  I ordered a set of Bobro Engineering low pros but they haven't arrived either.

So, does open shoot have an optic requirement?

So my conclusion stands regardless of which session.  Iron sights are all that's needed.

Geesh!
