MM16 range cleanup
« on: November 17, 2018, 11:07:02 AM »
I wanted to recognize someones good deed in cleaning the range on their own.  I was at this Hilo range last week and it looked trashy, and I shouldve done some cleaning myself.

Some people are good at complaining about problems that exist.

I'm a person of the "Old School".
One of the Founding principles of the Old School is the saying "You have TWO HANDS and ONE MOUTH, therefore you should do TWICE as much as you TALK".

I went up to the 16 Mile Marker range this Morning, before daybreak and did my best to clean it up and haul down the trash.
Filled up my truck, there's a little more to clean up but I got the bulk of the trash.
Hopefully, the range will stay clean for a while.

I didn't wait, plead, and wish for a place too shoot, only to have it taken away by the careless acts of others.

I'm going to do my best to keep the range clean as long as I'm able to do so!"

Thanks for posting.  The firearm haters love to post pics of the trash, so a clean up it a good thing.

Spots like this are why I prefer a formal range, but that looks like never happen.
