My plan is to tie down my doggies and hope for the best. :rofl:
I also live next door to a school and emergency evacuation point. Most of my family is Mormon, so I grew up prepared.

I also keep my trees trimmed to a reasonable height.
Your most likely problem is power outages.

Costco chicken is great. It can feed me and my dogs high quality protein for pennies. Currently,  certain vegetables are in season so I try to take advantage of that and help local farmers.  Dinner tonight is Aloun farms eggplant with pork. Also got a local daikon so I made tsukemono with that.
Buy local.

The range and other city parks are closed on Sunday Aug 16 due to bad weather. Fortunately, I bought a big bottle of whiskey today. :rofl:

It appears to be a humorous or nonsensical mashup of the slang word "mogging" (outshining or dominating someone in physical appearance) and "cooter" (a vulgar slang term for genitalia or an old-fashioned southernism for a turtle).
