I've noticed it can be hit or miss.  I drive by there every morning between 6:30 ish to maybe 7:00 ish.  Sometimes 3-4, sometimes none, sometimes like 10.

I'll likely be in that line again in the near future.  Bittersweet feeling.

Was first in line this morning.  Next person wasn't until around 7:20.

Applied for handgun permit.  Was out of there in about 10 minutes.  Most of that time was to fill out the carbon-copy forms for the permit application.  I had all of the forms filled out, but apparently they make you fill out the permit application by hand.  I was applying for two permits, so took twice as long.

Overall, pretty quick.  When I left a little before 8, two people in the room filling out paperwork and 2 in line.

Picked up a Mossberg 500 from Gallery of Guns / X-Ring.  :)  Going to stick to using it at indoor ranges for now.

Oh...  That is what that is.  I was scrolling through the different barrels and I couldn't understand why that one had a rod under it.

After I get comfortable with it, I was thinking of maybe joining HDF and taking one their classes or swapping the barrel and trying trap or skeet.

Thanks.  I saw that.  I work from 7-12ish this Saturday.  I was thinking of maybe swinging by after work and just watching a bit to see what it is about.  Hopefully  the next time around I can take the class.
