I had 2 Japanese knives sharpened for CHEAP by the guy in the back by the snack bar
one was probably 100 years old an rusty, and now it is usable
had a dull and slightly stained sashimi knife that is sharp and looks okay now
Post some pics!  Along with video of you cutting up some sashimi!   ;D

Didn't really check out prices on guns.  I saw more than a few deals on ammo that I would have bought if I was low, but I stocked up a couple of months ago, so I didn't buy any ammo.

Lots and lots of knives.  Surprised my dad didn't buy any this show.  He did have me stop to take a closer look at a few tables, but he didn't inspect any closer.  Some very, very nice custom ones that I was tempted on.  Also saw some kitchen knives for what I thought was good prices.  Would be nice to have, but not something I "needed".

We explained rapback to a couple people who walked up to us at the HDF. I was explaining about why I believe gun registration is unconstitutional. The question came up about how many States require gun registration so had to look it up. The website I got this from is anit-2a but seems like a comprehensive list. I'm surprised there aren't more States who prohibit registries like Alabama or Tennessee.

STATES THAT REQUIRE REGISTRATION OF ALL FIREARMS
District of Columbia11
Hawaii12

STATES THAT REQUIRE REGISTRATION OF HANDGUNS
New York13

STATES THAT REQUIRE NEW RESIDENTS TO REPORT THEIR FIREARMS
California14
Maryland15 (handguns and assault weapons)

STATES THAT REQUIRE REGISTRATION OF PRE-BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS OR 50 CALIBER RIFLES
California16 (assault weapons and 50 caliber rifles)
Connecticut17 (assault weapons and large capacity magazines)
Hawaii18 (assault pistols)
Maryland19 (assault pistols)
New Jersey20 (assault weapons)
New York21 (assault weapons)

STATES THAT PROHIBIT REGISTRIES OF FIREARMS
Delaware22
Florida23
