Hey quick question about edc handheld lights. I can’t decide between the cloud defense mch or the modlite plhv2 handheld for edc. Which one do you recommend? All I’m looking for is an edc light/defensive light but also reliability and durability is the main concern
Hand held lights are a whole different/longer subject. I have a couple Surefire 1000/1200 lumen lights, but I think they are something like 10000 candela. I've done lots of tests in outdoor setting, away from the city so pretty dark and the throw is quite good for what I think is SD ranges, but for area. However, the high(er) candela shines when trying to ID if the person has something in their hands, or when there's different backlight conditions.
I checked out Modlite and Cloud Defensive handhelds. I think I'll get a MCH soon.
How much is a bunch? 10?
A bunch got issued today…

That was a very long winded post for, I'm going to test some optics side-by-side and you decide for yourself.
For those who didn't get to or want to sit through a 30 min video (I got through parts of each main section), he covers parallax, "red dot test", battery life, shake awake, durability (mostly story telling), and lens caps. Overall, I like that he did tests side-by-side. Tough to do for any shooter, but especially for newer shooters trying to decide. I personally tested EoTech and Aimpoint side-by-side for my first ARs. Tested others along the way, but mostly focused on EoTech and Aimpoint since. He had some good points, but some of his tests couldn't tell much. Also, wasn't really "combat", so title misleading. Personally, I think most of the "known quality" red dots, be it holographic, prism, etc, would serve me just fine for my intended uses.
Kind of makes me sick and vomit.
you guys are happy that some man
granted you your natural rights.
I’m surprised the first person is not from this forum. Cause I would think most of you peeps here are hardcore on being one of the first to apply. Oh well, as soon as someone post here about theirs, then I know it’s legit. Until then, I no believe!
Going to go to 808 gun club tomorrow at 10am. Gotta zero my rds and need some practice. Anybody gonna be there?
