Have you seen the Hawaii Society of Professional Journalists website?

Design circa 1996 and last updated 2021.

The legislature might want to check that they are all not dead from turbo cancer before they write them a stupid letter.

I still remember that day when Trump won the election.  I was on site working and the General Contractor came stumbling toward me.  I asked him "You all right?"

"That f*cker won...." he mumbled and stumbled past me in disbelief, shaking his head.  "Trump won" as he continued his way down the hall.

"F*ck yeah!!" I called after him and without looking back he flipped me the bird.

Man that was a great day for meltdowns. Those videos have gotten difficult to find on youtube, btw.

Hmm I wonder why

You know, I've been saying this more and more nowadays than ever before:

Nothing surprises me anymore.

If it was an attack I wouldn't hold my hands to my mouth with wide eyes and exclaim OMG!!!

There's a video out there on the internet talking about a "Black Swan event".  In the Maritime industry so much emphasis and discipline is placed on safety that something like this cannot just be taken as an accident.

It means this event should not have happened if strict Maritime protocols were in place.

Thus it is declared a Black Swan event and it needs to be investigated.

Make chicken papaya soup with the rooster(s).  The meat of the rooster is not like the conventional fryer chicken you buy at the supermarket.  The meat is firm, lean, and tough.

You gotta cook the rooster low and slow.  With plenty of green papaya.  Papaya has natural acids that break down the sinew of the meat.

The meat ends up lean but very tender, kinda looks like shredded kalua pig.  Very ono.  Very broke da mout.....

I know because small kid time my Ta-Ta uncle used to make chicken papaya or more accurately rooster papaya soup when his fighting cock lost at the chicken fight.

I dunno if he won more than he lost (mom wouldn't let us go with him to the fights) but we did have plenty of chicken papaya meals.

I seem to remember another candidate being talked about the exact same way.

President Donald J. Trump.

With all the fake news we should have some 3rd party post disclaimers much like Twitter and their fact checker. Soon with AI advances telling fact from fiction will only get harder.

And who are these geniuses who are able to discern the truth from fiction in all countries, states, cities, towns, schools, businesses, government agencies, and so on?  Who is an expert in all facets of every possible category of information being posted online?

What's the consequence of getting it wrong?  Once the damage to the creator is done, do we now have to make it right with a giant check backed by more government debt?

The hearing is 24 hours later on 4/2/24 at 10:05am.

THIS IS A DECISION ONLY HEARING. So no Zoom or in person testimony excepted.  Only online testimony accepted.

This is about making misdemeanors a felony if you're CCWing.  And making butterfly/switch blades legal, but you cannot conceal carry them. So almost useless. They're only making them legal because they've been sued and trying to stiff the attorney by changing the law.

That's why we have condoms and abortion.  Personally I still support the pill usage.  Works and it's safe for most.

Thanks, Dr. Jaco.

My younger daughter listened to her doctor and was prescribed the "safe and effective" pill around her senior year in HS.

After 3-4 years of suffering all kinds of anxiety and other similar issues, her doctor finally tried taking her off the pill.

Within 2 months, her mood was back to normal, and she was on a different form of BC.

BTW, we had condoms before the pill, so no, that's not why we have condoms.

And abortion is not in the same ballpark as all other forms of birth control.  Before RU-48, it was the only method of terminating a pregnancy, whereas all other forms prevented pregnancy.  Not that difficult to see the difference -- prevention vs. termination.
