so as the unofficial HDF brass sorter i use this:

what's the best way to separate the 5.56 and 9mm that are in the bottom tray?

Best way Child labor!! Pay um with candy and catch um back when they get cavities.

I just pull the 5.56 out by hand and shake the 9mm a few more times to remove any 22 stuck in the 9mm cases. So what do you do with the brass, are you reloading now?
