my favorite cigar is the Henry Clay Brevas
42 ring gauge, so it's not big. medium bodied. good daily smoke.  good old school taste
I always have to have a few of these in my stash.  can't go wrong with a Henry Clay.

Henry Clay was served in Kentucky as a Senator and in the House of Representatives. known as the Great Compromiser. also helped found the National Republican Party

Hmmmm...pricey cigars eh?
About the same price as a box of 9mm ammo.
....
I was enjoying a Cuban Partagas with an old shooting buddy on Saturday night.
My daughter dropped by the house and was disgusted by the smoke so I put it down.
After she went home I re-lit it but it just wasn't the same. :(
......
Henry Clay is always a good smoke

i often put out a cigar and smoke the rest later, most times i dont have time to smoke it all at once. when i re-light it, it takes a little while to get through the burnt taste but gets better after that
my favorite part of the cigar is the last 1/3 of it.  thats when the oils get strong, taste gets fuller.  when it starts getting softer when i roll it in my fingers, that's when i know it'll start getting good.   :shaka:

I notice that the bands on cigars keep getting bigger and bigger.
Makes me think they tryin' fo' hide something.

Likely a "status" thing, so the guy standing 10 feet away can see you're smoking a high-end cigar.   :geekdanc:

On Sunday I had a cuban Romeo y Julieta wide churchill at the archery side after the gun side locked up.
The weather was a little harsh but acceptable. I also introduced a newbie pistol shooter to the art of the cigar. LOL

a few new ones:
Romeo Y Julieta Vintage III, Oliva Series V Melanio, Rocky Patel Royale. the last 2 are a square box pressed cigar, which i like
only smoked the Vintage III so far and was a very tasty mild cigar.  i have yet to try the other 2 bc i just got them this week and going to let them brew for a while in the humidor before i light them up   :shaka:

That looks like a fine celebration to me.
I caught the covid about 2 months ago and I'm still coughing a bit.
It won't be long before I can enjoy a fine cubano or Nicaraguan smoke.
