Does anyone know the status of the lawsuit against HPD with regards to the unconsitutional nature of the permit process?  It’s absolutely outrageous that a firearm purchase requires 3 trips to the police station.

It's still pending. Due to COVID, many things have changed/paused.

1 thing that wasn't clarified in the suit at the time it was filed was if HPD is allowed to do what they're planning on doing on Aug 10th and in person RSVP. Basically 1 has to take the entire day off because they have to stand in line at 7am, then get a RSVP ticket and come back at another time.  And if they're out of tickets, then you must repeat.

It looks like before on the website HPD said that they were going to offer full walk-ins starting October. I just checked and looks like they aren't even doing it anymore. So unreal they should be sure again.

Could be due to Ricks proclamation.

Form; "all fields marked with a (*) must be completed", need to remember to record the Permit No. when filling out the PTA form at HPD.

Best way to "record" anything nowadays is just take a pic with your phone.  You get the form control number and all the rest of it as well.
