On Friday September 17 2010 the Pu'uloa Rifle and Pistol Club will be hosting a CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) High Power Rifle Clinic. The Clinic will be taught by the members of the All Guard Shooting Team. This will be a great opportunity to learn from some of the very best. The clinic will consist of classroom instruction that will cover breathing, positions (i.e standing, sitting, prone), sight alignment, etc., and actual live fire. This clinic will be held at USMC Pu'uloa Range Training Facility located at The Waterfront/Iroquois Point Island Club in Ewa Beach. The Clinic starts at 8am and will finish around 3pm and best of all, it is free. Children 16 years and older are allowed to participate but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. At least 100 rounds of ammunition is required. Magnum calibers are prohibited at Pu'uloa Range Training Facility. This is NOT a "run and gun" type clinic. The focus of the clinic is to promote basic rifle marksmanship.
