Every single time I talked to her staff about Gabbard's position on an upcoming bill re gun rights in one form or another, they would say "she hasn't made a decision yet".... sometimes less than 24 hours before the vote... and, guess what, every single time she voted to nullify our rights. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I will never believe a single word that comes out of her mouth if those words are anything but totalitarian anti-gun talking points. She's a politician.

Advocate for sensible gun control
Tulsi has a consistent record of advocating for sensible gun control. She has long called for reinstating a federal ban on military-style assault weapons and high capacity clips, requiring comprehensive pre-purchase background checks, closing the gun-show loophole, and making sure that terrorists are not allowed to buy guns. Tulsi is focused on building bipartisan solutions that can actually be passed into law, rather than using the issue as a partisan political football.

From her own campaign literature, proudly proclaiming:
"Tulsi has an F-rating from the NRA, a 0% rating by the Hawaii Rifle Association, and a 100% rating by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence."
The limitation is in response to a ricochet incident when staff and firearm experts believe a high caliber bullet contacted a dormant firearm slug within the northern berm causing the slug to ricochet and damage a parked car window
The problem is, the FFL, not the ATF, has the responsibility to maintain their gun sales records unless and until they go out of business. Then they are required to forward their records to the ATF. What the agent was doing was taking photos of paper forms that contain firearm purchase info they are not allowed to have by law. Until that FFL goes out of business/loses their Fed Firearms License, the data stays with them -- exclusively.
Saying they already have the information makes no logical sense. If they do, why take pictures? You're assuming the Feds are competent enough to gather that info outside of asking the FFL to hand it over. Not a good assumption given the level of incompetence we see in all levels of government these days.
I think every person who ever bought a firearm from that dealer has a civil case against the ATF and that agent personally. Should sue the living daylights out of them!
