Cool!  I'm a Spectrum customer.  Paying almost half what I was for an AT&T unlimited cellular plan plus the cheapest cable internet service available.

I expect this will be great news for Spectrum's future.

as in radio frequency spectrum 800 mhz

they got approval to do V2 next year
also, article notes that V2 doesn't transmit low frequency (but i think the low frequency is the earthbound component)

I thought satcom downlinks were in Ku?

When politicians have no solution ( Hawaii housing) they start pointing fingers or create boogeymen...corporations, "rich people" (except them), foreigners (no open borders?)

Its not me its the mayor....

https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2026/10/09/maui-police-chief-fights-paid-leave-with-accusation-against-mayor/

At a news conference Friday afternoon with his attorney, Eric Seitz, Pelletier made a bombshell claim of his own: that Bissen had him sidelined because Bissen has been under criminal investigation since August.

“I will tell you, it’s a felonious crime and the mayor is the suspect,” Pelletier said. He refused to provide any more details and he said he is recused from the investigation, apparently because of the bad blood with the Mayor.

Green: Kauhale Program Costs only $41,000 per bum per year, a 50% improvement over previous system

SA: … Before we took action, an unhoused person was costing taxpayers an average of $82,000 annually in healthcare and safety costs, and that cost has now dropped by more than half for a kauhale resident….

REALLY OBVIOUS QUESTION: “Normally when an executive becomes a distraction, he gets pushed out and replaced. Why isn't that happening here???”

At what point do things have to suck so badly for the apathetic 70% of non turnout voters to make them show up on election day, let alone submit a mail in ballot!
Do these same people only give a f@#% when their internet is out, their electricity is gone and they are starving? Does the 9 missed meals rule even apply to our pacific island bombai class?

The current DNC is more likely to pick AOC, Gavin Newscum, or Al-Sayed before Joshua Greed, they got nobody on the bench to challenge JD Vance, Rubio or Gabbard.

None of them are MDs...

with a 30% voter turnout you think anything is going to change? Hawaii is just a stepping stone for the presidency. It takes a lot of money to run for president....just saying....

Surprised as she talks a lot when on TV

https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2026/10/06/tokuda-awa-split-potential-trump-impeachment-race-2nd-district/

State Sen. Brenton Awa acknowledges he is a significant underdog in his campaign to unseat U.S. Rep. Jill Tokuda in Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District.

Tokuda declined a televised debate with Awa, so Hawaii News Now interviewed both candidates separately on where they stand

Collins also took aim at the United States while discussing his songwriting process, revealing that he had saved a provocative phrase he could eventually develop into a song.

"I've got a song that's waiting to be written called ‘Fat People with Guns,’ which is about America, you know, and I just write that phrase down so I don't forget it," Collins said.
