Kinda curious where Marissa is I was looking forward to her comments. Dunno if her not being there helped or hurt Tupola, probably hurt if I had to pick.

Roger!

I’m thinking I’ll try to bring my dad’s 1903 and M1 Garand out for some fresh air.

For ammo for the Garand, know of any local shops that regularly stock ammo safe for M1 Garands?  I haven’t looked into it for a while, but I recall needing ammo that is around 10-20% less velocity than common commercial ammo. I guess I could try to find CMP ammo, but I’d rather try to find locally. If available.

I have a case of Federal American Eagle (AE3006M1) for M1 Garand use, I got it from Danger Close Tactical. Let me know what you need I can get it to Inspector or to you, I am the early guy on October 28th if you’d like to plan for then.

Now off to play hookie with Inspector at KHSC.

FAQs / Re: Getting and registering a gun in Hawaii
« on: August 25, 2018, 09:17:45 PM »
I have taken the class before and owned a handgun. I dont have the gun anymore but I'd like to get another. I don't know where I put my affidavit saying that I completed the class. My question is, do I need to take the class again or does HPD have a copy of it from when I previously registered my former handgun?
If you can ask whomever you took the class from for another affidavit. HPD will have a copy in your file, they still want to see it and make a copy each time you apply for a hand gun permit.

SWAT-ing is just one reason I don't have my name/face on Twitter or FB.  I see people all the time calling each other BOTS and Trolls for having false identity info in our profiles. Those are the very people I don't trust. If they are checking out profiles for real personal info, I have to wonder why.

So your not the Gieco caveman in a AF uniform?

Haven’t went yet and don’t plan on it, I did register online for the burn pit registery so I am probably in the system. As long as I am able to work and or have other health care options I do not intend to use the VA it would be my last resort.

I’ll take the remaining ammo for proper disposal. Doesn’t matter if you had the receipt or not ammo is a final sale non returnable item.

Da  ;D

Are you going with the Mosin for the availability of the 7.62x54R?  Don't want to venture into the semi-auto category?  Like an M1 Garand or M1A?

General Discussion / Re: Colt Customer Service - Recent Experience
« on: June 27, 2018, 03:57:37 PM »
I facilitated a commemorative firearms buy during/after my last deployment through Colt, sixty plus firearms in total over thirty rifles and over thirty pistols. It was a few month long process to plan and finalize the commemorative inscription, graphics and layout, working with a senior customer care manager. Everything went great from start to finish and then there was a need for after care on two of the rifles. I was on hand when with the FFL to pick up the rifles from the freight forwarder our FFL picked up the pistols later solo. We inventoried the rifles verifying all of the serial numbers matched the invoice and spot checked the engraving on some. The rifles were issued off the stack to the buyers as they came  with their PTA’s we missed two that had defective anodizing. I let Colt know that two rifles had issues and they sent the owners RMA’s the complete lowers were returned. Colt knew that we had registration here so they wanted to try and fix those lowers first instead of replace them, they were able to fix one and had to replace the other. I had a really good complete customer service experience working with Colt for our commemorative firearms group buy.

I’ll be there!

What about Dustoff?

Hope the black powder guys are ready to shoot some some black rifles.

I’ll be around, check your PM’s.

I am looking forward to it. I might even bring a black rifle (or two).

Not sure what Dustoff is doing yet. We should hear from him later this morning.

Emailed you.
