Compared to me you are a young man Flapp.

This episode of the thunderbirds is similar to the BP oil rig disaster in the gulf

I used to watch that. I don't remember if it was on before or after Checkers and Pogo.

The Wizard of Oz as in color -- well, after Dorothy opened the cabin door to see a colorful Oz.

That was in 1939, and it was not the first colorized film.

In this new world of computer animation, this is an amazing endeavor.
I was not a fan but I can appreciate the hard work it tàkes to create it now.

Was 15 in ‘65. Was too interested in girls and my band to watch but I do remember my younger brothers watching it. Pretty cool stuff!

I turned ten that year, I don't remember ever seeing that show till many years later.
I remember Johnny Quest, but my time was pretty full up and not a lot of time for TV
in those days.

I was seven and I loved the Thunderbirds. They didn’t sell Thunderbird merchandise here so kids were more interested in their toy guns and anything space related back then. Otherwise it might have done a little better as a TV series.
