Just like you spending money on guns is the cause [fault] for you not having a "green" lifestyle.

Opportunity costs.  Look it up.  Texas was unable to fund reliable energy and grid improvements because the money went toward solar and wind projects.

Contrary to popular belief, the well of government money, especially at the state level, is not bottomless.  Most states have laws that require them to have a balanced annual budget.  If you give funding to green energy, you have to take it from somewhere.

In case you didnt know, Nye is a Mechanical Engineer who worked for a very short time in aviation design, NOT an actual Scientist like he plays on kids television shows. He certainly isnt an expert on global weather and climate.

Also he is recently famous for saying 'science' recognizes more than two genders. This is the 'expert' they are bringing in to testify.

 Too bad Mr. Wizard isnt around anymore, he would kick Nye's ass, he actually believed in the scientific method and the skepticism required.
