Thanks for the link MMM.
This is turning out to be kinda fun.

The important scale is not about liberal vs conservative but about more government control vs less government control.

If you look at it on this scale, we all have more in common from a 2a point of view.

Pretty much agree with that.

Solid Liberal but I pretty much hated all the questions. Trying to shoehorn complex issues into two categories is exactly the kind of  stupidity  that's tearing this nation apart. I just finished out of curiosity where it would land me but it's infuriating to only have either-or choices with such shallow and ignorant hypotheses.

I consider myself conservative because I believe in the rule of law. Bush, Obama, Wall Street, and the Military Industrial Complex are Neo-Liberals because they are constantly breaking  the law to fill their pockets full of loot at the expense of taxpayers, and wealth disparity has grown so out of proportion that it's a wonder we haven't seen more civil unrest yet.

There's literally no way to express that in this survey, but I'm guessing that's the point. As long as people are fixated on cultural bs they aren't a danger to the larger system that's sucking them dry. Of course the bread and circus/divide and conquer games only work for so long. If they were effective then the culture that invented those phrases would still be around instead of sinking into a barbarian dark age.

Neo-Liberals.

There's a valid term.
Especially with the way people use the term Liberal nowadays.

Your post goes back, in a sense, to Jl's post

Pretty on point for today's society.

I think that's neo-liberal.

The definition of Liberal has definitely changed as the Country has become more polarized.

That's why I'm an Outsider I guess.

I consider myself a paleo-conservative/republican.

Yes, that is also a legitimate term.

I don't want to start an argument here. But I believe that you can say the same for the definition of Conservative. Exasperating the polarization.

That is why I feel like an outsider.

Took an online quiz to find out what paleoconservatism is (vs neoconservatism).

Turns out I am 93% paleocon and 53% neocon.
I think, therefore I am armed.
