Yeah and my other investments/gambles returned a 9900% return vs that loss.
My home in Mililani has increased 250% since I bought it in 2001. Not quite the spectacular return you had on your investments (and you still can't afford a car), but I'll take it.
Paid $383K, now worth over $900K.
Then there's my rental property in Hampton, VA, that's gone up the same percentage, if not more. Tack on the tax deductions via repairs, mortgage interest and depreciation, and I have not only a positive cash flow, but also someone else building equity for me.
