BackDoor Semi-Auto Rifle & Mag BAN in Hawaii In Motion! Now! (Read 25563 times)

Posted in legal as well but this affects almost all of us:

Looks like the bill was modified after all public sessions to include a ban on all semi auto rifles and magazines. This was purposefully deceptive to the public to do it after all public sessions. They went full Colorado ban on us!

Call and urge the democrat speaker and vice speaker now tell them it was deceptive and urge them not to bring it to the floor for a vote.

Democrat speaker Nadine can shelf this: (808) 586-6100
Vice speaker Linda could also shelf this deceptive ban:(808) 586-6220

Otherwise you might be a criminal if this passes.

Rally time. Gotta make a big spectacle otherwise they will shrug their shoulders and put it through.
If the news was lying to me I would have heard about it on the news.

I called the 3 numbers on the NRA email. Nadine's people were interested in what district I'm from. Linda's people put me on hold without even answering so I called back and left a message.

Lauren's guy was very nice and told me that the only way to turn this around is massive public opposition.
If the news was lying to me I would have heard about it on the news.

Please contact your legislators and politely let them know that this will punish life time law abiding citizens
while incentivizing criminal activity. Imagine the entire market for these fire arms being given to organized
crime on a silver platter. What a tremendous business opportunity for the black market.

Does this mean it's going to go to the gov desk to be signed as the next step?

This is fucked up.

Here's the link from NRA-ILA. It basically explains what's going on and what steps to take. There's another floor vote coming up at the House

https://www.nraila.org/articles/20250403/hawaii-action-needed-procedural-maneuvers-are-putting-your-rights-at-risk

Here's the link to do an email blast from the above article, but you should still call your house rep and the house leadership

https://speak4.app/lp/i401znnt/?ts=1743696916

Speaker Nadine K. Nakamura – (808) 586-6100
Vice Speaker Linda Ichiyama – (808) 586-6220
Minority Leader Lauren Matsumoto – (808) 586-9490
If the news was lying to me I would have heard about it on the news.

There is 1 more house floor vote.

Then it goes to a senate floor vote, but before this happens the committee heads of both sides will meet to discuss. These are Elefante (Senate PSM), Karl Marx (Senate JDC), and Tarnas (House JHA).  If they all agree to the language of the bill, then it goes to the senate floor vote.  None of these 3 are friends to the 2A, which is why the calls to the senate heads as in the NRA-ILA post are important.

1 house rep voted for the bill and was unaware of the changed to it.  The rep thought it was only a 50 cal ban.

Yes,but not mags.

And ur rifle can never leave the state and return.

And if ur rifle length is less than 30 inches, so a bulpup like a tavor is, its classified as an assault rifle.

Yes, which means police and criminals will have a monopoly on force just like in Australia

Yes they have attacked our 1A rights. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/video/2025/03/20/city-council-approves-ban-popping-wheelies/
Wheelies and the like are freedoms of expression.

I tried posting at least three different times about in on Civil Beat articles related to the legislature but they keep deleting.

The plan is to ram this through before anyone finds out, and then act like the proper procedure was followed.
If the news was lying to me I would have heard about it on the news.

Yes and done before the bills effective date. So if it becomes effective the day Green signs it, you are a felon if you didn't block them once his sig has been completed so the "N" in Green.

U also cannot ever take your guns out of state. So no out of state repair, hunting, competitions, etc...

You will have to have your mags blocked or already shipped out of state, or destroyed.
