Recently all the posts deemed "political" by a moderator were moved from the "General Discussion" thread to the "political discussion" thread. That thread title/category is not visible, much less accessible, to any nonmember, or member who is not "signed in". Such people would have absolutely no idea that such a thread even exists.
Why?
Obviously, it's four days later, and many new "political" topics have been posted in "general discussion" because apparently people continue to believe that these items are of a general nature to second amendment advocates and not strictly "political". Yet they will likely be moved to a section of the website that "lurkers" or casual readers will not even know exists.
I've asked this question several times and never gotten an answer. Why is the "political discussion" thread hidden?
Someone controlling this site doesn't want the general public to know that people that populate this site have "political" views? Or someone doesn't want the general public to know exactly what those political views are? Why?
I'm asking again, for at least the third time. I understand that this is a privately-owned website and they can have and enforce any rules they want. I'm just asking for an explanation for this rule. Is that too much to ask? Apparently so.
I guess this will get moved to the "political" thread where no one from the general public will even know about it.
