It serves a very specific purpose and it serves it well.

It's extremely strong and so far 100% reliable.

Does something like that risk accidental discharge?  Do you protect it in a holster, pouch, etc or is there some kind of safety on it?

It has a half notch that rests the hammer safely in between bullets.

It also has a little holster.

Accidental discharge would be very hard to do.

I finally got it home
my Ruger single Ten revolver
its a nice looking single action
feels great in my hand.
can't wait to shoot it
