I am thinking about reloading 7.62x39. Any recommendation of powder available on Oahu would be appreciated. I have an Ar47 16" barrel. I currently reload 5.56 and 7.62 and want o start reloading 7.62x39, but before I start I want to find out if power is available on Oahu. Any tips on reloading this round? I have billon 550 press. I have that extractor. At first the range officer tried and failed. I ordered that extractor and soaked the chamber with penetrating oil for 2 days. I tried to extract it but failed. I want to send it to a gunsmith before I mess it up
I will try different settings on the gas block. Also I will reload some rounds with a few grains under the minimum. I have heard not to do that. What do you think? Thanks for your help.
I have an extraction problem with a PWS .308. Sometimes the extractor rips the case and the case gets stuck in the chamber and need to get it out with a cleaning rod . Randomly happpens on reloads and factory ammo. Any advice would be appreciated.
