If current situation holds, I should be free that day.  Think will be ok, but have to play by ear if I need to attend to things with my dad.

I am down for potluck.  Not sure how long I can stay afterwards, so I'll volunteer some morning snacks.  Donuts and maybe some other stuff.

As for firearms, just have my 686 Plus.  I'll bring a bunch of .38 SPL as well.  I'll probably bring another handgun as well.

Hope the surgery goes well.  Things went well for my dad.  There are a bit of a scare maybe 2 hours post-op, but seems like things are healing up well.

Enjoy the time with your family!

I have a suggestion for food.
If everybody chips in 10 bucks, I'll go pick up some Chinese lunch plates from Lung Fung and bring a cooler with drinks.
That way nobody has to worry about preparing something for a pot luck and we can eat by the tree at the grassy area.
It would also be legal because if we went to a restaurant afterwards, it would be a "place to keep" violation to leave the guns in the car.

What, Me Worry?

Sounds good!

For starters I'm thinking to bring:
GP100 Wiley Clapp 357magnum
Redhawk 44magnum
Colt Cobra 38special
Single Ten 22LR
I should have plenty ammo, I'm working on some 44 handloads sort of a 44-p not hot more like luke-warm
Maybe more  :shaka:

I never shot 454 before. I'm afraid of 2 things: the recoil and I'm afraid I might want one after shooting it

I still have a few .454 rounds you can try. But I'll bring some greatly reduced .45 Colt loads that are accurate out to the 100 yard line. You might enjoy it more than you think!

Guess I'll crank up the press, gives me about a week and a half to load some ammo.

 to oldfart's offer. . . will we be seeing your M27?
