Postal match - February 2021
« on: February 01, 2021, 08:24:03 PM »
Anybody up for a postal match for February ?

Rimfire at 50 yds.
Centerfire at 100 yds.
Open class at any yards.

Prizes ? We don’t need no stinkin’ prizes.
Just for camaraderie and shits and giggles.

Feel free to post suggested targets.
I’ll be out there in two weeks.

Post targets here along with caliber and distance and type of rifle if you want.
No sleds but bench rest and everything else OK.

A couple years back we did a postal turkey shoot.
I admire your enthusiasm, but you need to lay out some rules to play by or it just doesn't work.

About a year later we held a fun match to celebrate the departure of an old member.

I shot this yesterday using my 327 M&P R8 with wadcutter reloads (25 yards).  Zeroing and testing out the cheapo Bushnell RSX 100 red dot.
Only 13 shots because I had 3 light strikes--gotta tighten up that mainspring strain screw, lol!

Late post.  7.62x39 ar fifteen build, Wolf fmj,  100yd target, zeroed at 50yd.   Upper right was learning the “hold”.  Middle and lower target, 1 shot each after getting the “hold”.

Disappointing, I was expecting a parcel delivery match between postal workers.....
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

Postal Match = eHarmony for Post Office Employees?

Is "Post Office" still a kissing game for teens?    :-*
