Reloading / Re: Case crack
« on: March 09, 2018, 11:10:00 PM »
Thank you all for the feedback, I’ll keep an eye and if I find any other case cracking I’ll contact Dan Wesson. The case that cracked wasn’t a reloaded case but since everything went fine during shooting, I can see how it can be a one time item. Thanks again.

Reloading / Case crack

Hi,
Although I reload and haven’t had any issues with reloads, I tried a factory Hornady Critical Defense 357 MAG 125 gr FTX and when I arrived home I found this single case out of 25 factory and 50 reloads had a crack. Should I be concerned? Most of the cases show darkening on one side of the case by the mouth. I shot it out of a Dan Wesson 715.

Technical Support / Re: I'm having problems posting pics to my posting

Thanks for the imgur tip. I tried jpgs in all sizes, but in the past, as in last week, I could just load them straight from my phone, without having the resize them. I went the imgur way, just to have some images there at least for now. Thanks,

I receive this message when I try to post pics on my last post. I have reduced the size of the pics, etc but to no avail.

Hunting / Re: Hunter Ed class and test
« on: October 24, 2017, 06:04:32 PM »
The test covers the contents of the in-person class, and is administered at the end of that class. I've not scrutinized the online material, but I'd imagine there's an awful lot of overlap!
Thanks, the online material is very good, it is reassuring to hear that the class test is based on class materials. thanks,

Hunting / Hunter Ed class and test

Is the Hunting License test part of the In Person Conclusion Class based on the Hunter Ed online material or based on the in person class material? I am in the process of studying for my hunting license and enjoying the content of the hunter ed curriculum online, but don't know if I'll be able to remember everything for the test.
Thanks,

Hi just wondering if the Koko Head range allows pistol shooters to use chronographs to measure their reloads?

I like old things. Like my Harley, my wife, well you get the idea, maybe classic instead of old is a better word. That's why I fell in love with and picked this beautiful revolver.

From classic movies scenes as when Michael shoots Sollozo in The Godfather, or when Nick plays Russian roulette in The Deer Hunter, or Hutch's gun of choice a 357 Colt Phyton, from Starsky and Hutch, or Dirty Harry's 44 Magnum, my childhood was influenced with the beauty of real guns, revolvers.

I just picked up this brand new beauty, a Ruger GP100 Match Champion in 357 Magnum. As old, classic, and beautiful as it gets. Me and her are going on a date, dig that? We are going to have a real good time, dig that? A date to the range, some nice music, some nice ammo, maybe some nice targets. Just me and her. We are going back into competition, I'll tell my wife not to wait up.
