I been wanting to get one as well.  Cheapest option for me right now.  Paddle out and drift and start casting and see what comes of it, or paddle and maybe troll.  Could also be used for diving.  Havent really looked around for one though.  Let us know how your search goes.

haha! sort of, have yak but no way to carry (yet) since sold the truck but I got a plan which is only half baked at this point :)  also looking for rudder kits.  more interested in just paddling around but fishing sounds fun too.  I can see how the s.o.t. would end up being overweight and a general p.i.t.a.   Kinda' sounds like me I so got to start exercising again.

Go rudder-less.  Its a bit harder and takes some getting used to though.

yah, was doing that bass monkey.  ok on still day but in the wind sucks major balls!   the oem kits no longer available but found out about Smart Track and getting more info.  my wife's yak will be custom install, well that's the plan at least.  not like there isn't enough on the to do list already!
