Cool!

I believe it's 4.8 grains of TB under 158 LSWC at 1.600" OAL crimped.  That's over max so be careful.  I confirmed that it is not compressing the charge, so it seems to work fine.  It has been said that Trail boss does not like to be compressed, so watch that, and I think you'll be OK.
I'll check out the 4.8 grains to see if it hits the bottom of my bullet. I am using a different bullet which is smaller/lighter/faster. Perfect for a fast burning powder such as Trail Boss. I might be able to squeak 5.0 grains in there. I am well aware of the dangers of compressing Trail Boss. Thanks for the warning. It never hurts to be reminded.

I might even try loading some black powder 357 loads just for the fun of it!  :shake: :shake: :shake:

tested some ammo today just to see how it feels in my short barrel 357: Security Six 2.75" barrel
I liked this load best.
5.0 grains of titegroup, with 158 grain LSWC, and CCI 550 small pistol magnum primer.
it was easy to shoot in this gun.  with factory 357 loads it can get a little unpleasant after 50 rounds or so, but this load very easy to manage.
I dont have a chrono so i dont know the velocity, but felt kind of like a 38sp+p
need to do some accuracy testing next

I was revisiting some threads regarding cast bullets.
Regarding 357 cast bullet reloads, here is one of my all time favorites...

Hard cast 158 lswc
Mag primer
14.5 H110 or ww296

This combo produces a wonderful boom, good accuracy and is not too hard on the action or bbl.
What, Me Worry?
