I've got $50 that says the President doesn't go on TV to warn Americans to not "jump to conclusions" or "engage in Islamophobia."    :geekdanc:

Do they normally store duct tape on airplanes now? Also useful if the plane starts coming apart...

Duct tape is great on luggage with broken zippers or latches, internal hinges and latches on the aircraft that break, etc.  Also makes good labels for almost anything.

I don't know a single military flight I've taken that didn't have a roll of duct tape in plain sight for anyone to use with the exception of a T-37 jet trainer.

Glad passengers got involved to subdue this whack job who just so happens to be a Turk.   I would think that passengers who get involved are are immune from lawsuits or prosecution if the perp gets injured or worse.

That is why having a weapon with flying is very useful.

If I were a paranoid conspiracy theorist, I would think he was the guinea pig testing security measures in preparation for a terrorist attack.

Or maybe the Turk wanted to stop the flight because of the jet's carbon footprint and chem trails affecting global warming AKA climate change AKA science AKA tax scheme.
