"Climate Change" should be forbidden in and around any government agency or office based on the first amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I see no difference between the Climate Change Evangelists and the Church of Scientology.

But climate change is real  :geekdanc: unlike religion.
Its an threat that the government has to deal with just like how we combat terrorists.  Its something threatening our survival.
The magic man in the sky will never kill us or destroy our world.  But climate change can and will in the long term.  The dinosaurs didn't deal with sudden change in climate well either and that was from a meteor.  Unless of course you believe the devil planted dinosaur bones n stuff.

He gets it, he just can't admit what you are saying is true. Otherwise his whole climate change religion gets blown up. I have asked him several times to provide me with the percentage of climate change that mankind actually affects and he refuses because he can't. The reason he can't is because science cannot. He just keeps posting some stupid link that has nothing to do with my question to him and says all the information I need is in the link. Which conveniently it isn't. If he really wanted to answer my question he would admit that he cannot because the science is not there with the answer. His behavior is being intellectually dishonest.

By not answering your direct questions and statements directly (in the same way he does not answer mine) he is being intellectually dishonest with you as well. I think he is smart enough to know what he is doing. In my opinion he is just a troll, I am ignoring him. I suggest you and everyone else here do the same.

Since someone can't read websites I guess I can try dumb it down for you.  We don't with 100% certainty know WHAT EXACT percent humans are effecting the climate.   What we do know is co2 produced is a greenhouse gas and we produce lots of it.   When people ignore that they are foolish.  Just like how we humans don't fully understand gravity and what exactly causes it.  Is its from a unknown graviton substance, or the warping of space, etc? But we all can plainly see that it exists.  (well hopefully you do).  Look here is a easy and simple proof ridden example of humans impact on the earth.  A little while ago back in your day people used Aerosol sprays, this had CFC's.  Now that interacts with our planets ozone and there was a large MEASURABLE effect on earth.  Now we humans realized this and while the science was 100% either we banned the use.  Now in the present the ozone layer is healing and we can see a MEASURABLE effect that the ban had.  Kinda proving that we humans were responsible.  Or was it some magical magic man in the sky who just manipulated everything or just coincidence?

Without any irrelevant and non-analagous analogies just tell us:

1. What percentage of the total  "greenhouse gas" atmospheric temperature increase is caused by CO2? What percentage is caused by water vapor? What percentage is cause by all other gases in the atmosphere?

2. What percentage of the total CO2 in the atmosphere is exclusively generated by humans.

3. Calculate the percentage that human-produced CO2 has on atmospheric temperature compared to all nonhuman CO2, water vapor, and all other gases.

Hint: That number can be calculated without any reference to quarks, neighborhood trash, or any other utter and total nonsense. Just do it.

don't forget-
please explain all the other periods in the earth's history that the amount of CO2 was MUCH higher than it is now and how that correlated with the temperature and sea levels

IMO, what it comes down to is that it is easy to appeal to people's emotions, fears, etc.  Whereas it takes time and discipline to study something, establish facts, etc.  If we don't have enough of a track record to determine, then again, it's easy for people to discount that as people not caring.  I care, but I want to care about it in a smart way and not go off based on emotionally based opinions and emotion.

Our current technology level of science can't fully accurately map this out.
There is around 40% more co2 in the atmosphere than before humans started to mass produce it
Here is a more detailed link
https://www.skepticalscience.com/empirical-evidence-for-co2-enhanced-greenhouse-effect-advanced.htm

2. What percentage of the total CO2 in the atmosphere is exclusively generated by humans.
We produce around 29 gigatons of co2

3. Calculate the percentage that human-produced CO2 has on atmospheric temperature compared to all nonhuman CO2, water vapor, and all other gases.
Our current technology level of science can't fully accurately map this out.
But I'll give it a whirl.  You are hinting to water vapor which does have a large effect, next I bet you are saying that water vapor isn't caused by humans, you are correct.  But what does cause water vapor?  Heat, higher the heat the more vapor,  its a positive feedback effect.

Without fear there is no action.  You fear something and are motivated to do something about it.  If you don't care about something you don't do anything about it.
While I am not a climate scientist, the fact that "90+%" agree on climate change with alot of facts to back it up is good enough proof for me.  You don't have to a specialist in every feild to beleive in the results.   I trust other specialists just like I trust my doctor and mechanic etc.  If 9/10 doctors said I had an illness and showed me test results I will believe the 9/10 rather than the 1 person who said its nothing you got sick before you will get better again.  I don't have to run the tests myself or get down to the cellular level to re-prove the doctors.

So summing up your "answers":

Without any irrelevant and non-analagous analogies just tell us:

1. What percentage of the total  "greenhouse gas" atmospheric temperature increase is caused by CO2? What percentage is caused by water vapor? What percentage is cause by all other gases in the atmosphere? NO ANSWER.

2. What percentage of the total CO2 in the atmosphere is exclusively generated by humans. NO ANSWER.

3. Calculate the percentage that human-produced CO2 has on atmospheric temperature compared to all nonhuman CO2, water vapor, and all other gases. NO ANSWER.

Hint: That number can be calculated without any reference to quarks, neighborhood trash, or any other utter and total nonsense. Just do it. DIDN'T DO IT.

What fear leads people to do is act on and make decisions based on emotion as opposed to logic.

You've been repeatedly asked for your "facts that back it up".  Which you never produce to help your case.  Like all the times you go on and on about what you believe.  You use words like belief, trust, fear.  That's fine if those are what you use to lead your life.

Anyways, continue believing what you believe in.  Who knows, you may be right, but you're really just guessing.  And just because you don't understand something, like gravity, doesn't mean it's an act of faith by those who do.

But its fear produced by a large majority of certified scientists.  Same like the fear of cigarettes made it illegal to smoke indoors.  There are some people out there that say cigarettes are not that bad.  But the majority of credentialed scientists "proved" they are.  We still don't 100% know everything about cancer but that doesn't make it much less of a threat.  Relying on professionals for opinions is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.  If there is a large majority of professionals inducing fear its something to believed in.  There is a fair amount of science out there that proves it too.  While I don't fully understand it all its not in my profession.  Same reason why I don't fully understand medical issues so I leave that up to the doctors.

The "facts" used to back up are those off sites that had scientists post to them.  There are far more scientists that believe in climate change than not.  I don't fully understand the facts but I trust those who do and believe in them.

Its true in the end we will find out in 25 years when technology advances and our knowledge and hey if we lose 25 feet of coast land to the ocean maybe people might start to believe~  Then we can all move to tropical Alaska. And I will get the last laugh here.
