A Classic for all Time!!! 

I personally feel honored and lucky to have been alive and serving in the Air Force when President Reagan had his 8 years.  He is still to this day the standard to which all later Presidents have been compared.

How true that is today.  I remember that election. even though I was in the
third grade and my parents were apolitical, I sensed that the Democrats
were "a clear and present danger to my future".

Today America is like the flt 401 in the early 70's,  the people(Democrats) in charge
are worried about small distractions,  while our aircraft slowly
descends into the swamp.  Over half the people died on that aircraft.

That is the state of America today, Democrats worried about rather
insignificant distractions,  Autopilot has been disconnected and we are
going down. 
Many people will die, and there is no one out there to come to the rescue.
and in our 21st Century case, I'm not inclined to help rescue the people that
crashed us.

What else can one expect when the pilots and crew all have parachutes, and only the wealthiest of the passengers do.

They can survive the crash -- for a time.  As history tells us, when the lowest income levels gain too many of the population, they then have the numbers to kick the highest income people out of power.  The risk comes in seeing people like Bernie and AOC offering Socialism and higher taxes as a "solution" to income inequality.  Since when does taxing the rich ever make the poor less poor?  So, you get another $25/month on your EBT card.  You still are not EARNING more income.  You're just becoming more dependent on that money from gov't.
