Title: Mayor Candidates
Post by: changemyoil66 on May 20, 2020, 10:28:17 AM
So Blagiardi is running as an independant.  But he did run HNN which is fake news propoganda.  I emailed him what is stance on CCW is.

Anemiya's uncle works for Caldwell and is his right hand man.  His commercials state he is different and was the AD at St. Louise.  How did he get all the money to run all those commercials pre Corona when he's different?  He was the only candidate who was running commercials at that time.

Pyne has nothing yet

Hanabusa has nothing yet, but she won't get my vote.

Seems like another shit sandwitch and gotta pick the lesser of the evils.

Would vote for Bu if he ran. BRB going aala park to find him.  He has to be old enough now.

Blangiardi used to be my boss.
He was a fair and no BS guy back then.
I would vote for him. At least if I called the mayors office he knows who I am.

Saw an ad today of SHOPO endorsing Blangiardi.

My prediction is Amemiya will win.
He’s sort of a local legend due to his involvement with local High school sports and ability to raise funds.

He definitely tends to hold conservative values. I remember that when he was boss, one of the advertisers was Young Guns.
I fact, I was surprised to see a commercial for GLOCK firearms on one of his old channels recently. Very strange.

Hanabusa was on TV last night....

"...now is not the time for training wheels..."

I would guess that snarky remark was aimed at Blangiardi

She might be aiming at him.  But even though, people like Blangiardi who are willing to throw their hat in the ring bring a fresh new approach to government.

Maybe this is what is needed instead of tired old politicians who claim to be off training wheels.  My opinion is she needs to put those damn things on again and learn the basic fundamentals.  I always felt that she is so smart she's stupid.

Would like to know his stance on Gun control, 2a, and his view of HPD getting involved in politics, like how Susan Ballard did.  In my opinion a police force serves, they do not dictate how they serve.

My first impression of Blangiardi was "oh no, just another affluent individual trying to get into politics".  That wasn't really information based though.  Interested in hearing more from him, and more importantly his history on significant current issues.

Debates should be pretty good.
New blood vs. Old blood
Meaning first time politicians vs. career politicians.

Not really feasible, but I would want to get their views in a context that is more informal, at least not prepared talking points and stuff.  Maybe debates over drinks!

Should be like drunk history.
Drunken debates. Search for the truth.
Snockered.

The only wheels Hanabatta knows anything about are the loose ones in her head!
