Strategies and Tactics / Taser strategies

Given the new law that allows purchase, carry, and use of tasers, I am interested in knowing what kind of strategies you all would use, if you need to use it.


Taser pulse seems to be the most popular choice so far.  Given that the device's recommended strategy seems to be.... deploy then drop, as the device discharges for 30 seconds, this gives you the chance to safely escape the situation. 
However, do you think you would be in violation of the law, since you have now surrendered control of the taser? 


If this is so, then how would you safely employ the taser and escape?


We've all seem the videos of guys jumping up and attacking as soon as the electricity stops.

I am going to be cracking down on this behavior.  People will get banned, depending on the severity, perhaps permanently.  I am getting tired of looking at all these reported posts. 


If you cannot have a discussion like an adult, you will be deleted from this board.


Ask yourself, "If i were to say that to someone's face, in person, am I likely to catch a left hook?"   If the answer is yes, then DO NOT POST IT.   I'M SURE YOU CAN FIGURE THAT OUT.



There will be no appeal or discussion.  Just ban.

Most of the whole process could be done ONLINE. There is one reason and one reason only that they make this process so cumbersome and expensive,  TO DISCOURAGE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS FROM EXERCISING THEIR RIGHTS, under the Constitution of the United States and Hawaii. Criminals don't apply for permits for firearms.

Reloading / Dillon SDB refurb

I can't seem to remember, but thought I heard that Dillon will refurbish their presses for a good price.  Has anyone taken advantage of this, and how much did they charge?   I've emailed, but haven't got a response yet.




I am caught up on my handgun cartridges right now and think it would be a good time to send it off. This press must have 10K+ rounds through it.. :rofl:
