General Discussion / Re: get a Taser on January 2022

$1800 for the X3? Yikes!  I'll wait to see what SCOTUS says about carrying outside the home. Most law abiding people don’t carry a weapon, which is a big mistake.  If someone came up to me asking for money, my immediate response would be to shoot them in the face with my Mace gun, while my other hand would be reaching for the fixed blade on my belt.

Since the X3 is targeted to the tax-funded law enforcement market, you're paying for them anyway!   :geekdanc: :shaka:

Once the gov't market buys enough, the civilian market ought to see reduced prices.

Reloading / Re: Extraction problem with PWS .308

I don't know what model you have, but some PWS .308 rifles come with an adjustable gas regulator with 3 settings.  Have you tried other settings -- assuming you have an adjustment?

Some have reported the same issue as you, and switching to a heavier buffer helped.  One review I saw said the lowest gas setting was over-gassed, and the other 2 are under-gassed (won't cycle).

He seemed to believe this is a common issue with .308 Win. Semi-Autos.

One thing you could try as a test is shoot some lower velocity, lower pressure ammo.  Reducing the pressure might be the fix.

A heavier buffer is intended to slow the cycling speed and reduce felt recoil.  Before going that route, you might want to call customer service.  They can gather enough info to tell if that's the best course of action or not.

Is there a taser that shoots 3 times?

It's called the X3 -- go figure!

Firearms and Accessories / Re: last Glock I'd ever sell
« Last post by Flapp_Jackson on Today at 01:46:25 PM »
I'm not attached to any of my guns, even though I am one who appreciates many of the pros of Glocks.  Not quite HK fanboi level, but I would say I am a fan of Glocks.  I envision holding onto the Glocks I currently own until they get so beat up that they stop functioning properly/reliably, but I don't think I'll get there in my lifetime.

If I were to get another Glock, I would get a full size version in 40 and 45.  Due to the current ammo situation, don't see that happening any time soon.

I bought Glocks because they were (1) popular, (2) affordable, and (3) reliable.

After trying to change my grip style to accommodate Glocks, I decided to stick with Sig Sauer.  Their style accommodates my grip better.

I did find that using the included back straps for my Glocks made a world of difference.  They helped move the large joint of my trigger finger more toward the rear of the trigger guard, which corrected my problem of pushing the Glocks to the left when I fired.

Can't say enough about ergonomics.  You want a gun to be a part of your hand, not something you have to position perfectly to be accurate.

Some want a 1911 grip and angle, others prefer something else.  In the end, it's all up to what feels right to you.

Media silent on who the lead prosecutor is against maxwell tomorrow.

Maybe she will do a Rittenhouse and hand a not guilty to the defense.

If she intentionally tanks the prosecution's case, then that's not a Rittenhouse.

The Rittenhouse prosecution was just incompetent, ignorant and trying to prosecute a losing case from square one.

This prosecutor would have to be just as incompetent, and all the evidence disproves her case.

New varriant called Omnicron. Waiting on more info.

So far they think the already infected might have higher risk of reinfection.

Have you ordered ammo through them?

Nevermind. I just read through their shipping policy.
I would order ammo from them, and ship to Kaleo for the next pallet.  I should also check with Jen to verify when the next one is projected.  Don't want to have boxes of ammo sitting in their garage (or wherever they store them) for months for the next pallet.
