I like the additional l features, but essentially the same thing.

I think the only advantage a saiga has is the ability to customize, but out of the box the VEPR feels like a better weapon.

Not to derail your thread but what on your thoughts on the Catamount Fury? It had a piece in the 2014 G&A annual edition.

All the dealers keep saying that those are flying off the shelf. The only reason that is happening is because they are cheaper than a saiga, which is/was (for the time being) cheaper than a vepr.

I spoke with one of the the resident AK experts, KK, about purchasing a catamount, and we both unanimously agree that it it is a piece of crap.

Save the money and get a converted saiga or a vepr.

I think some guys use this rig for competition/class. BUT IMO the Saiga-12 is best used as a sheltered in place position with multiple MD-20 20rd drums  :thumbsup:
