We went to Shot last year, but didn't go inside.  We just happen to be in Vegas.  The Chandelier Bar at the Venetian is the hang out after the show is over for the day.  Plenty of "tactical" looking people and many CCWing. Not once did we see the hotel approach anyone.  Guess it isn't a concern that they are going for at that specific time.  Security walking thru the bar area often and I can assume their cameras are good enough to see any printing.

They do however Xray checked bags.

I was about to whine about the cost of 2011s, but at 20 cents a round, 100,000 rounds is $20k. lol
