Political Discussion / Re: Baltimore Bridge Collapse
« on: Today at 05:10:29 PM »
biden's response to this tragedy irritated me.  Not one pip about investigating and holding those responsible accountable and thereby responsible for it's re-build.  Not one pip about prioritizing the insurance process.

But quick to state about the Federal Government will do whatever it takes to get the bridge up and running.  Translation:  Federal money.  Tax money.  Our money.

By the way, it's an election year........ ::)

Time and time again, biden has shown (me at least) why it seems like he's not in charge of the nation.  Just an old man figurehead that needs to be clarified every now and then when he talks crazy.  I don't see him as our leader.  More like a talking head for the man, men, woman, wife, or diversity monstrosity that is behind the proverbial political curtain.

His handlers need to "walk back" his statements time and time again.

Yes, I believe the Federal Government needs to be involved in the re-build.  But his cavalier attitude toward Federal Funds shows the lights are out and nobody's home up there.

Our leader says that we will be responsible for building the bridge. No mention of financially holding the boat owner/company responisble.

This was an attack, the media is hiding it.

Normally with conventional thinking,  people would only run if they stood a chance.

The hearing is 24 hours later on 4/2/24 at 10:05am.

THIS IS A DECISION ONLY HEARING. So no Zoom or in person testimony excepted.  Only online testimony accepted.

This is about making misdemeanors a felony if you're CCWing.  And making butterfly/switch blades legal, but you cannot conceal carry them. So almost useless. They're only making them legal because they've been sued and trying to stiff the attorney by changing the law.

Hoping that I can reach the right people to help me in this situation...

Email HIFICO. No guarantees, but at least you tried them.

Another possibility is upside down battery.

This happened to me as the tray is very snug for my Holosun. So when I popped it out, IDK which way the batter was because it flipped like a coin.

Seems like something turning the dot "off" could accomplish.

  :shaka:

That's what the poors do. The guys with buku dollahs purposely buy dead or close to dead batteries.

There are a lot of suicides here in Hawaii, but media outlets are not allowed to report it.
FYI

Some years ago, I spoke to a few cops.  The average Jap tourist suicide in Waikiki precovid was 1 a day. Yet the news never reported on this.

I have another theory...
What if the Chinese public is starting to lean towards western philosophies?
The Chinese government might be performing false flag operations to justify more restrictions on personal freedoms.

Just a theory.

As the President of the Tin Foil Hat club, this isn't a good theory. China gov can do what ever they want because they suppress info and rule with an iron fist.  There is no need for a false flag operation.

Did this bill get passed or not?

The next step for this bill, is for it to get a hearing in the JHA committee.  It has yet to have one scheduled, but the deadline for a hearing isn't over yet.

There are groups that already do that, or used to.  Not a match though.  Sometimes happens inadvertently, like when an optic or battery goes down, but that's a good topic for a separate thread. . .

My RDS went down multiple times on my AR. Which was good becuase I got to practice flipping up the back ups to finish the exercise.  I kind of want things like this to happen, so I can get unpredicted reps in real time. Which is why I'm not a fan of 1R1.  When I practice reloads, I put random amount of rounds into the mag, this way I'm not counting.

Back in the day we used to design all our own courses of fire.
This thread makes me think it might be fun to design an action pistol stage where you intentionally obscure your sights.
It would be a simulation of catastrophic failure of electronic and/or iron sights.
It does happen.

In fact, you could design a whole match centered around gun failures.

If KHSC would allow it now days.

Ordered two more holsters for my 43x.  A Tier 1 (T1-M) minimalist type holster that I will probably use with Alias, and ANR that will use with the belt clip.  Had been mostly concentrating on G19 and G17 setups, but going to be shooting the 43x more over the next many months.
Do u have alias for all the needed set ups, or so u unscrew and attach everytime?

Ok, lets settle this. If she creates an OF, then all will be forgiven.

Y'all might remember about 3 years ago I finished a match after my front sight broke off. Try shooting with no sights some time. At close range it's mostly just lining up the top of the gun anyway.
I use the corner/edge of the slide

They really don't see how they are shooting themselves in the foot. If they had hit him with some much smaller fine and not made such a big deal about it they could actually secured a conviction and a fine without it looking so blatantly partisan

Did I trigger you?

Since you missed it, the obvious point of my comment was that you don't have to tell us you don't know something.  Nobody cares.

What use is that kind of post -- other than to feed an ego?
He feels the need to post something, which shows why hes wrong majority of the time.

So, you're saying Dr. Phil didn't diagnose him as incompetent, so anyone else who gets scammed isn't necessarily incompetent -- but possibly horny?

I didn't watch the entire episode, just like 1 min of it while channel surfing. IDK if his wife left him either.

OP.

don't feel like you're the only guy getting screwed by HPD.  HIFICO was founded because HPD denied a permit to acquire to a legal permanent resident (not a US citizen).

For another guy, a judge ordered he can get his guns back, HPD said no. He filed a lawsuit so now certain assaults doesn't take away your 2a right forever.
