Popular fast-food chain Chick-fil-A to open first restaurant in Hawaii

Quote
HONOLULU (KHON2) - The popular mainland fast food chain Chick-fil-A is coming to Hawaii.

The company says its first restaurant is slated to open on Oahu, and will be owned and operated
by a local resident. It will employ 80 team members.

The details of when the store will open and where are still unclear at this time.

More information is expected to be released soon, the company said.

I've heard rumors it may be replacing the Burger King being renovated at Mililani Town Center, across from the high school.

If so, my meal planning just got a whole lot simpler!

Mililani?!

I’ve never tried, but have long wanted to. Dunno if I’ll drive out there just for that though.

Just a rumor.  I could be wrong.

But that BK has been closed for remodeling for a while now.

If you do decide to take a drive and try them out, don't go on a Sunday!

Nah. I’d head out there if it opened up. I don’t each much fast food these days, but love crispy chicken sandwiches every so often. That and my east coast friends rave about that place.
