Why are they deleting their period tracking apps? I don't get it.

Shouldn't they be EVEN MORE concerned about tracking period cycles and avoiding pregnancy? No contraceptive is 100%.

Mostly because it is information being sent to a third party, not protected by the 4th amendment; they could potentially risk prosecution etc. If they did something and it might be evidence against them.

Yes thank the gods. And Mac and Chris

Pretty sure I didn’t do anything lol. I sent a text or two and not sure if that really worked :). Just happy it’s back up. Now I can focus on school again.

Wow hello Funtimes!   Long time no see.

I hope all is well with you and yours!

Thank you for intervening once again.

Good job mac, for getting a hold of Funtimes.

Doing really well right now.  I'm in my last semester of law school and will be sitting the bar in July of this year.  Been doing my own side business, currently still work for the Federal Gov, and have a little one w/ one on the way!    I don't know how much anything I did helped, but glad the site is up lol.

So just to clarify, do you mean you reached out and successfully contacted the owner 2aHawaii (in recent days) and he/she responded?

That’s pretty much correct; so long as the number wasn’t catfishing me. They at least knew something about me, but then didn’t respond after the initial response back to me saying hey there was a problem.

Just to add, I’m not sure what happened to the primary domain.  Anyone with knowledge can feel free to reach out to me on facebook. I’m willing to host any future site since I already pay for hosting for my personal and professional needs (and basically plan to do so until I die lol).

I tried reaching out to 2ahawaii, but only had a brief interaction that didn’t help much lol.  I promise people are aware and working towards a solution at this time.

Legal and Activism / Re: Baker win at the 9th CCA - What now?
« on: March 11, 2017, 03:04:17 PM »
Baker is done anyway, he no longer has the job he was fighting to get a carry permit for and I just read he doesn't live in Hawaii anymore

This was fairly immaterial.  We don't believe someone should have a specific job to carry a firearm.  Also, non-residents are not prohibited from carrying in Hawaii (if they have a permit).

That said, it's pretty junk of the court ending it this way, but we already kind of saw what was on the horizon.  We need scotus to take a case.. .there have dozens and still yet no relief.

, and Baker did not apply for an open carry license.

Just wanted to add that we did try to apply. I was denied being able to because I wasn't a security guard or in possession of a guard license.  We asked in my application and narrative letter to issue one to carry open or concealed.  Our briefs sufficienctly documented and argued that hawaii has taken open carry off the table and that concealed is the only permit allowed to citizens.  We discussed their refusal to allow me that manner of carry.

No that's not the guy. This is him. https://www.facebook.com/drhawaii/posts/10153029036296173:1

Yep and check the post that was above that picture was a post about him dying (which has been reported to me as being fake).  Why someone would do that, idk... kind of lame.  :shaka:  ??? ::)

Well you're wrong. It is the same guy. Unless he "passed on" once he realized people weren't fine with him taking their money and not providing a product as promised and giving excuse after excuse.

Well I will tell you on his facebook is a few posts about him being dead with no follow on posts and a shit ton of people offering condolences and the like.  If someone has done that (faked a facebook death), they drop to a new low in my book.  Macsak has told me he has seen him since then so I will definitely believe him over all.

I would still encourage people to focus on the business practices and first hand information.

As some have posted on calguns, the longest En Banc decision was a little over 3 years from argument to opinion.  The 'average' is about 1 year 7 months.  We are just over 1 year and a few months.  I would probably be looking towards fall / end of this year before I would be "hoping" to see something.

Hawaii On Target (DARIN HAITSUKA), listed ten's of thousands of rounds of mini mags for sale on gunbroker.com, collected payments, did not ship ammo and has not refunded money to most buyers. Many, many excuses, including his associate Dexter Chun was assaulted at warehouse in California, had broken bones and was badly beaten up, causing another delay. Gunbroker buyers are trashing HOT in feedback, using words like SCAM, RIPOFF and FRAUD (that was my word).  When things got hot, Darin went dark, no longer answering any emails or phone. Last email said to call Alex Kim @ HOT for refunds. Phone is never answered. Messages aren't returned.

Is he really an FFL, as indicated on gunbroker?

Since KHON2 has interviewed Darin before, as a firearms safety expert, I have contacted them to see if they would like to interview him again.

Truly amazing that he thinks he can do this and get away with it. If he would communicate his problems, I'm a pretty understanding guy. But when you have people's money and cut off communications, it looks like a planned ripoff.

He's got some serious problems. Hope he works them out. A KHON2 news story would almost certainly shut him down.

I'm pretty sure this would not happen.

By accounts I'm able to see, Darin, who was an acquaintance and previous instructor in the community, is no longer here and has passed on.  Out of respect, I would just encourage us not focus talk on an individual who is not able to come forward and defend themselves because they are dead.

Facebook promotes "real persona" they don't want fake accounts; it doesn't lend well to their investors.  They don't even let the government make fake accounts and will close those accounts as well.   They go to pretty far lengths to protect the information they are given and use it for their own business purposes.

Legal and Activism / Re: Update Young v. State of Hawaii
« on: March 29, 2015, 08:58:30 PM »
It's been 22 months since Chris posted his "Check back in a year" message. That year wait looks awfully good right now. Young is held up indefinitely (apparently) while Peruta/Richards/Baker continue to be stonewalled and delayed for years be addressed in a timely manner by the judicial system. Too bad, because Young would/could strike some deep blows against Hawaii's unconstitutional violations of the Second Amendment. At this point I'm tempted to say "Wait two years", but that might be unrealistically overly optimistic.

I'll help you out.  Check back when I am retired =P  :shaka:  only 22 years to go!

There is still NO proof what guns Adam Lanza used or if that whole thing really happened.

This isn't even worth a real response.  ::)
17
I'm not so sure about this.  The time line to get a permit is very long, we are talking 6 months to years wait.   How were these guns removed from evidence?

@2:43 - that's not the magazine that was in his rifleutilized during the Sandy Hook incident.  Even by CSGV's standards that's what is reported.  you can see the picture here:
http://csgv.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Lanza-AR-15.jpg

Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me.    Licensing? No way that would slip through the neighborhood boards and stuff lol. Zoning.  No gun owners saw this?  Distributors? etc.

And what really let's you know it's BS, regarding the Class 3 Fully-automatic UZI.  GWH Website says:

"This weapon has the perfect combination of automatic firepower and compact size. Every year it attracts countless people to gun ranges. One of them brought his 9-year-old girl along for the fun. She’ll never forget it, because she unintentionally shot and killed the gun instructor who was trying to teach her."  They can't even get it right.  You list it as automatic in the description, but semi in the gun information lol.  Like anyone would sell that; hell, good luck possessing that in New York.   The whole things a sham.

thats kind of a hard decision for me, since I also work for Kaiser.   :(

Might want to check and make sure that it would be against kaiser and not the city with wolfwood.

I think the coolest things the seals had when we went undeway on the submarine was a pelican case with a xbox 360 hooked up inside of it.  Flip open the top there was an LCD monitor.  On the outside you could plug in the power cord lol.  It was just badass.

Sometimes arguing just to argue is counterproductive.

Clearly you are wrong about arguing to argue for the sake of arguing.   ::)
