I'm no where close to being the expert, but from reading, this might be a better selection for a few bucks more.  It's made in the "famous Zastava factory" now in Serbia, the former Yugoslavia.

$569.95

Bro, that's the exact same gun the last guy posted, with different furniture.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Let me offer a bit of unsolicited wisdom.

When it comes to low cost AK type rifles, buy locally.

The quality on a low cost AK type rifle is hit or miss.

You can get a total piece of turd.

The most expensive gun you'll ever buy is a cheap one that doesn't work.

If you buy locally, you can touch it, cycle the action, check the sights, inspect the quality...

I see.  I just checked the CAI listing on their site, and it includes the factory.  From other forums, some said the receiver may not have been made in Serbia.

Thanks for the clarification!

I'd definitely steer clear of those ones.

A WASR is an upgrade.

The OPAP model has the correct double stack bolt and reinforced receiver. The NPAP has a regular receiver and single stack bolt.....can someone give the local shops a heads up to bring these into the islands? Underfolders too
