Wayne at Pacific Custom. I have seen his work and the groups his rifles shot. Pretty good. And they were shot at 600 yards. There were a few times he shot out the spotter.

Nothing crazy. A 14.5 midlength AR.  Planning to cerakote the upper.  Anyone do cerakoting?  I read speedtek does it but the thread seems to have fallen dead.  Thx guys.

Are there any gunsmiths that will work on pistols on Oahu?

I don't have time to do cerakote right now. It's a lot of work and we have so much
Projects.  But we will announce 2 weeks before we do it so we can pile all the jobs at once.

Ed Masaki.
He specializes in 1911s, particularly bullseye, service pistols and is quite well-known; though I don't know what his backlog is.

Dexter is the man. He did an awesome job for me on my most recent noveske.

I do this professionally and do a lot of custom builds / work, especially in regards to the AR/M4/M16 platform.  I am pretty busy also but can try to fit you in after I return from a business trip in a couple of weeks if you are still looking for someone to put your rifle together.  I do various finish types of work, but I too do not have the time to cerakote right now, but may be doing it in the future.  As mentioned one or two parts here and there makes it less practical.  If you wish, you can email me with what you are looking at with your project and any questions that you may have.  See email below.

If you let me know what you are looking at, I might be able to help you out or point you in the right direction.

I will also add that Wayne is top notch, especially when it comes to precision bolt rifles.  He is a friend of mine and he does indeed work full time for HPD and his schedule is pretty booked.  I highly refer him also in the bolt rifle area, if he can fit you into his schedule that is.
