5:15am – The makai Hawai‘i Kai bound lane of Kalaniana‘ole Highway will be closed from Kahala to Lunalilo Home Road until 8:00am. Modified lanes from Lunalilo Home Road to Hanauma Bay, to maintain access in/out Hanauma Bay.
6:00am – Full Closure of Kalaniana‘ole Highway from Hanauma Bay to Sandy Beach Park until 8:00am. Drivers will detour via Kealahou, Hawai‘i Kai Drive and Lunalilo Home Road when the road is closed. When the Kaiwi Coast segment re-opens at 8:00am the detour will be the route for cyclists still on the course.
