General Discussion / Re: Greene at it again

Green seems quick to delcare an emergency.  The last one, in town was nothing. Saw vids of the west side and yes there was some flooding and heavy rain, but nothing out of the usual.

Maybe he's doing this so they can spend money on things?  Thus funding his supporters.

This one is worst. Last one, Moiliili to Kakaako was dry.

This one, raining normally and off and on in same area.

So if town is raining, west side must be hit even harder.

No, they will milk it as long as possible.

But to be fair, Ed Case has been against the act for years now and has tried to get rid of it for HI.  So let's see if he was just talking shit or serious about it.

Somethign else interesting. When Trump took office and relaxed the regulations on oil, gas prices in HI didn't drop quickly.  In fact, it took about a year or more.  Some say it's because gas stations buy in advance and the prices agreed upon cannot change with the market.  So the stations paid for higher priced gas.

But yet, it took less than a week for the gas prices to increase due to the Iran attacks.

Maybe there's a clause that prices can go up at any time for X reason, but cannot drop for X reason.

Can anyone provide input?

Some from the Iriaian womens soccer team granted asylum in Australia after a game.  They refused to sing the Iran anthem .  Interesting enough, in an interview of the 5, all have removed their hijabs.

Trump tweeted about how AU should take them in, and if not, the US would.  AU said OK shortly after.

Ain’t life strange?

It appears he was the only kinda guy who could not just survive their all-out attempts to destroy him, but actually come back to humiliatingly defeat them politically, and then begin ripping their tentacles out of our lives and pockets.

Never would have believed it - especially after his first four years.

All you say above is true - let us pray he actually pulls it all off.

This shows what a real leader is.  He keeps taking hits and still is efffecient.  Anyone else would have folded.  He gave up his luxary lifestyle for America.  That's why they're doing what they do to him, to show anyone else who wants to do the same down the road, they will make their life a living hell if they're not perfect.

Trump today states Operation Epic is ahead of schedule of the 4-6 week timeline.  So pau already.

On a side note, Iran states they will activate sleeper cells in the US soon. Which means, they drew first blood.

This operation is costing us 1 billion dollars a day.

And Iran has elected Khamenei's son as the new supreme leader.  He was reportedly injured in the initial attacks, and it was also reported that his wife and one of his children were killed.

When talks of this might happen, President Trump stated that this would be unacceptable to him and that he wants to be involved in picking Iran's new leader.

And naturally, Iran has shown exactly what they think about President Trump's statements.

1 billion dollars a day to replace a Khamenei with a Khamenei.  And I'm pretty sure his "love" for the US is unprecedented.

Can't make this shit up.

I would say it's more like regime muslims in Iran want a regime muslim type leader.  The citizens who want freedom like how they had in the 70's want a freedom loving leader.

Some humor in what's going on. Iran is attacking Kuwait.  I mean, Kuwait has downed 3 F15's, which is far more than Iran has.  doh!

So Iran is saying they captured 40 Delta operators....

They also claimed and posted a pic of a downed B2 that has it's landing gear down while on the sand and a huge gash in it....

Multiple social media people reposting said propoganda.

Also, social media people posting about a draft.  Copy/paste.  I have 2 friends who posted it and not as a repost.  It states "drafting my son".  1 doesn't have kids and the other has a daughter.

At least some other friends have edit the copy/paste post and added "drafting family/friends".

But neither above realize the draft hasn't happened since Vietnam or women don't get drafted (daughter).  And that drafts don't start till after a war began, not in the early phases or during non-wartime.

It's actually pretty clever. They demonstrated to everyone in the region what they are capable of and that their forces are designed to continue fighting in the absence of central command.

Then it's "oops, sorry guys" but everyone still got the message

Just a reminder that these are Persians, not Arabs, and they've had decades to dig in and prepare.
I beg to differ. At risking going to war with another country by hitting civilian targets.

Iran says it will no longer attack other countries. These were carried out by rogue commanders.

Shows u the level of competancy these commanders have.

Something to think about

The "school" is right next to a base.  So any blast would affect it negativly.  Not across the street, but like a wall separates the 2.

School on a saturday?  OK, maybe.

Girls school in an islamic country?  Ok, maybe.

Reported child to adult dealths by the Iranians means it's a 1:1 ratio of students to staffing. Ok, maybe.

For 3 days following, no "bodies", but just backpacks.  1 Iranian vid shows a man digging into fresh dirt, as in not rubble.  You can tell by the discoloration.  And the translation is "he's looking for his daughter".  The "hole" is about 3 inches deep and about the size of a shoe box.  I wouldn't put it pass the Iranians to immediatly release vids of "bodies" to get international and liberal support, but they haven't.

1 source claims the missile was an Iranian one that went off course.

100% death rate, as in no survivors.

Firearms and Accessories / Re: First 1911 in 45

So I've decided to use grease because my 1911 will sit until further notice.

I took a class a few months ago and realized when I take a class, that means Mrs. CMO has to watch out daughter all day. Then after the class, I'm usually drained and need a nap, then have to clean the guns. So I'm basically out of comission with our daughter till 8pm or so.

It's unfair to Mrs. CMO IMO, unless we take a class together and grandparetns babysit, but our priorities have changed.  We have enough training to be proficient with our tools and Covid closures taught me that we can go a long time without losing too much ability.

So I finally cleaned the 1911 after many rounds with no issues.  I was doing a test of how many rounds can I go withouth cleaning until jams happen often.  I would estiamte that I'm about 1100rds with no cleaning.

Imagine if Killary didn't give Iran uranium.

Imagine if Barry didn't give them billions.

Imagine if Brandon didn't release their billions.

Would we be where we're at today?

On a tinfoil hat note, what if Maduro's capture was a plan to secure more oil.  THis had to be done before any strike on Iran.  And as it seems, Iran is only allowing China to use the strate.

What if this strike on Iran is to cripple China later?  There is no need to strike China at all due to their tofu dreg.  Their buildings will collapse on their own.

Are we witnessing 4D chess?

Imagine if we didn't have to depend on other nations. The US has enough oil, but tree huggers/EPA prevents us from drilling more.

So if Trump isn't doing anything illegal and justifying the attack with said War Powers act, why are they voting to repeal it?
