Hornady handbook of cartridge reloading:
158 grain XTP with H110 starting charge is 12.7, top end is 15.6.  Half way in between is 14.15. My load is 14.1
. My other book says 15 grains to 16.7
We'll see how my loads go and take it from there  :shaka:

I use the hogdon website. It's so easy. Try plated bullets for cheap boom boom ammo.

I grabbed 2500 45acp bullets via the gun show.
They are pretty ordinary lead bullets that I always use.
Loaded a few to test out later. ..maybe today.

.....
That's way lighter than I ever used.
For that bullet, I would have used at least 16.5.
It's more fun like that.

chrono'd the H110 XTP's and was only going about 1100fps, so will go hotter next time
will also load up some of Stan's projectiles to test out with probably ACC #5 bc that powder seems to be pretty accurate

Dry tumbling approximately 1500 45 acp brass. That should keep me happy for a couple of months.

loaded some of Stan's 158 grain 357 LSWC projectiles over 8.5 and 9.0 grains of ACC#5. book says 1170 fps and 1220 fps but we will check it on the chrono this weekend and I'll shoot from Lee's pistol rest to test some accuracy. shoot out of my 6" GP100 bc it is my most accurate 357 revolver

Dry tumbled about 1500 or so 45 brass and loaded a few hundred missouri idp1 bullets with a medium charge of 4.2 be. A screw came loose on the Dillon and pis...d me off. It took a out a half hour to figure out what was jamming up the mechanism.  I had to sit outside with a beer and a cigar after that. Then some neighbor up the street started singing karaoke...some days ya just can't win.

Ran off 150 rnds of medium 45 practice ammo for tomorrow.
I notice the brass I'm using nowadays seems to be cracking more often.
I think the quality of metal isn't as good as it was 40 something years ago.
