Off Topic / Tiddy Bars are way different now
« on: August 01, 2022, 10:32:00 AM »
So haven't been to one in about 15 years (b4 I was dating Mrs.CMO). We went (Mrs. CMO came too) this past weekend and it was her idea. Our friends (female) bday.

So things that have changed:

1) The girls take their clothes off way faster. Before at almost all the clubs, it takes 2-3 songs before anything is removed. Some even go longer as they try to milk more money from the sucker. Now, before the 1st song was done, they completely naked.

2) Club has metal detector now.

3) There are all male waiters. Prior, it was almost all females and this is for various clubs.

4) IDK the cost of private shows

5) Girls are doing more flexibility spreading. B4 was just the pole, and on occasion hanging from the ceiling (939 had bars on the ceiling). Now they on the stage with heels in the air and stuff. This is a good thing

6) Almost all the girls had major tattoos. B4 was like 20% had major tatts. The rest was like a small one on the shoulder blade  or hip if anything.

Times have changed.

They xray bags, not search by digging or opening. They do the same with ammo, mags, and parts.

Many casinos do this. So strap up and leave parts in the car if u checking bags until your room is ready.

We stayed there during shot and carried the entire time. This happened to me in december though. No guns in the bag, but ammo and 1 pistol mag.then asked if we have guns in the room.

I got my gun back after checking it in hours later when we left to go eat. Walked backed in ccwing and no issues the remaining 5 days. They dont use facial recognizing cameras for this.

I think i made a post about this. If not, lmk there are way more details to my story. Would be in dec 2021 or jan 2022.

This will be updated as more respond and info for 2A only and related issues:

1) US Senator

Steven Bond-Emailed, awaiting reply. Phone went straight to voicemail

Wallyn Christian-Picked up her phone. Applied for her CCW day after SCOTUS ruling. Supports ownership of "assault rifles" and any capacity mags (she's an owner). Believes in having reasonable training. "I had a friend say owning a handgun is enough training, he didn't know how to do a lot of simple task like loading his magazine with bullets. People should be trained to do this".  "My daughter was willing to give up her guns if it meant saving children in schools.  I told her then the psychos will use bombs or even their car if they wanted to kill children. So don't give up your guns.  Because the 2a protects the other rights".

Tomothy Dalhouse-Emailed awaiting reply. Phone went straight to voicemail

Asia Lavonne-Update 7/26-Supports ownership of "assault rifles". No problem with any mag size. Supports CCW. "I fully support our Constitutional right to bear arms."

Bob Mcdermott- Currently serving in HI as a politician. He is a friend of the 2a and often votes nay on anti 2a bills. I emailed him asking his stance on CCW, since no CCW bill has made it to a hearing for him to vote on.

US Rep District I

Conrad Kress- Emailed and awaiting reply, no phone #

Patrick Largey-His Civil Beat Q&A states he supports CCW, but not "assault weapons". "These should be only in the hands of our military". Emailed, awaiting reply, no phone #

Arturo Reyes-Emailed and awaiting reply. No phone #.

This is near my friends home.

Owner was in his garage when approached by bad guy. Bad guy used an ice pick to make homeowner go inside for more stuff to steal. Owner said he has a safe, but the key is in his gun safe.  Opens gun safe and bad guy takes his Glock with no mag/ammo. Owner dashes later.  I'll bet the phrase "I never thought this would happen to me" comes to his mind. Stay strapped or get clapped.

General Discussion / What if??
« on: July 15, 2022, 11:44:02 AM »
What if China is collecting info on who gun owners are. This way if they or their allies invade, they will have some reference point to where guns are kept.

Holosun is a Chinese company.  1 only orders 1 if they have a gun. So there are records of mailing addresses.

Then as I looked up an optics plate for a Shield Plus and Holosun RDS, the USA made one is always sold out. China makes 1 named DPP Titanium and is half the cost. Only a gun owner would order this plate.  And it's always available.

Add in social media. Someone post a pic that sets off a ping on their AI (like facial recognition, but gun/gear recognition) , which then uses GPS to where that pic was uploaded from.

Dont get me started on how HPD would hand over all reg info and not attempt to destroy them.

So I noticed in the HRA SB that there were lots of guys running this type of RDS on their AR's. IDK which models they were, but you get where I'm going with this.  Is there something I'm missing?

Like when I was going thru holsters for the VP9, it took me like 5 holsters to realize Safariland is king. And many friends who run Safariland  told me this, but I didn't listen. We call this a clue.  For my M45, I went straight with Safariland.

So I've been running my SIG Romeo5 for 6 years now and have no issues.  If this were a duty rifle, then I might change to something more bulkier and sturdier.  But this is a safe queen.

Finally. But we still have to see if CCW permits are issued. This applies to CCW only and not open. Open can still be denied and must show cause.

Need to carry is removed

"Good moral character" is changed to "suitable person". Which is:
1) No domestic violence incidents recently
2) No recent careless handling or storage of guns
3) No recent incidents of booze or drug abuse
4) no other recent violent conduct.

Unclear about training requirement.

HI is the last AG to reply. CA even replied the very next evening after the SCOTUS ruling.
Political Discussion / "Hookers and cocoaine"
« on: July 11, 2022, 11:49:15 AM »
A quote when a news reporter asked a lotto ticket buyer what he would do if he won the lotto.

So Hunter Biden, and crickets from the media. Not like this is the first time he was doing drugs or talked about them and hookers. Had this been a Trump kid, it would make front page news and they would find a way to tie it to Donald Sr. and blame him.

I do not blame Joe totally as Hunter is an adult.  But what I do blame is the corruption, "cut for the big guy" and the cover ups.

But hey, lets be "objective" here. That scale weighting 20g of a rocky substance isn't crack. It could be baking powder because no one ran the drug test kit on it to prove it wasn't narcotics.  Those are not hookers yet, as they were not found in a court of law for prostitution with Hunter.  The previous crack pipe, may have been used to smoke tobacco, again no test kit was done to ID it was or wasn't crack. He just has messed up teeth cause he could be drinking lots of Mountain Dew.  And the big guy, could actually be a big guy. Like Ronnie Coleman big. So I have no opinion on if it was crack and hookers recently in video because I want to be objective.  Even though logic dictates otherwise and enough evidence is available from a google search.

Also nevermind the millions of barrels of oil being sent overseas is to a company that Hunter has a stake in.  Objectively, 1 may not question this much, but logically we see a pattern of this type of activity.

SCOTUS also ruled that the above has to go thru the congressional way with regard to the EPA ruling.  What Chev Diff (CD) is, it was a way of passing rules decades ago that the EPA used against oil companies. Instead of making bills and voted on by Congress, then into law, the EPA was allowed to change the rules on things and bypassing this process.

Then the AFT caught on and began doing the same.  They can change the definition of things, like what is a machine gun, or what is a firearm (80%) making people felons for having items that once were not classified as such.

This is HUGE

InB4 CCW denials go out.
I carry the VP9 in Vegas and since it's only a week, it's fine.  But for an EDC, I would want something smaller.

Looking at a G43X or Shield Plus due to the size and being able to carry 10rds.

I have a Smith and Wesson M&P9C that I would carry until I get to know what I want. I want to buy once cry once.  The reason why I'm not a fan of the 9C is because without the extended mag, the pinky hangs off. Not too much of an issue, but reloading takes a bigger break in the grip. So when you eject the mag, now the pinky hanging is noticable.  Plus with the mag blocked, it cannot  hold 10rds, but only 9 because the 10th round doesn't allow the mag to fit into a closed slide. This is the case for all 5 factory 10rd mags that I got from S&W.

Not a fan of the SIG 365 as the angle I don't like and the mush trigger.

Firearms and Accessories / AR15 Light Primer Strikes
« on: June 13, 2022, 08:59:29 AM »
Mrs.CMO's rifle shot about 200rds yesterday and she had about 4 light primer strikes. Federal XM193 was used in her and my rifle. I had no issues (Smith & Wesson M&P15).  So I don't think it was the ammo, because I shout about 120rds from the same batch of ammo.  This is the first time she has had this issue.  She has probably about 3K rounds in 3 years maybe.

Her rifle was fully cleaned prior to shooting (BCG, chamber end, barrel, etc...).  1 guy at the range mentioned I need to oil the firing pin, which oddly enough, I didn't do this time, but I normally do.  IDK this guy really, so IDK how accurate he is.  Everything else was oiled normally.

I googled and stuff that came up was issues due to a new trigger installed wrong, new BCG, new buffer tube, etc... None of these apply since her rifle was g2g all this time.  I found 1 post that mentioned to measure how much the firing pin protrudes, but I do not have the tool to do that.

When 1st building the rifle, the Elf trigger she had, had this issue. But it was every round had a light primer strike. We contacted Elf and Brian (owner) was the one who picked up the phone and he sent another one.  It has worked fine all these years.

Thoughts?  And could it be the firing pin oiling?
