There are 4 US States Which Were Once Independent Nations

Hawaii is only one of the four states that were once independent nations. The others are California, Texas, and Vermont.

If Hawaii is ever granted sovereign nation status, how long before the others follow suit?

Do any of these states even want to become an independent nation? I think Hawaii is the only one that has a decent argument.

Personally I don't think I would care if Hawaii became an independent nation again. If it works great, if not I guess I would just move.
