Yes it is I love the round wicked accurate.

Vac sealers are great and it keeps the meat etc a lot longer than ziplocs etc.

Here's my sons buck from Lanai using a 6.5x284 Norma

It isn't marinated my bradda but you can make a curing brine as well. I cure mine for weeks depending on what I make then cold smoke with apple, hickory or a blended mix of woods for 10-12 hrs come out wicked.  I haven't eaten store bought bacon in a while  :shaka:

Sharing a few pics. from my photo album. The resolution of pics. from my smart phone came out okay. Finally, listened to people who told me "To get with the times!" Don't use 35mm anymore; neither the obsolete flip phone I had for years.

Awesome animals that black bear is a healthy one!!!  LH I had to laugh when you mentioned the 35mm and flip phone have a few hunting buddies that refuse to upgrade lol.  I just crack up when I see them text the old school way by pushing the numbers multiple times to get the letter they want.

I was the last in my hunting group to get an upgrade. But I still take a disposal 35mm camera on my hunts....just in case lol. Some old habits are just too difficult to rid oneself of. Still take a ribbing for it.
The bear was a nice chocalate colored boar. Took him with my custom 98 Mauser rifle in 35 Whelen. Squared about 5'-5". The Trophy Bonded Bear Claw plowed through two feet of thick corded muscle and broke the shoulder blade and it's ball joint; hitting the off lung in the process. The bear dropped on the spot.
When hunting game such bear, moose and large feral pigs like to use Swift A-Frames, Speer Trophy BBCs and
Nosler Partitions. As you know, other bullets like Barnes X and Triple Shocks are great choices too. Some hunting buddies and aquaintences swear by them. Thanks!

Favorite hunting is upland birds using pointing and flushing dogs. Shooting skeet, trap and sporting clays is fun; however, the explosion of a game bird or a covey of them is an adrenaline rush for me. Here are some pics. from hunts on the Big Island and Oahu.
