What's interesting is that there are many who support Trump and want the release of files and a more in depth explanation.  I remember someone here and others saying that Trump is a cult and he has blind supporters type of thing.

If we go just based on popular people who use social media, many are calling for more info.  Compare this to all the popular Biden supporters who used social media and never stated anything bad about Biden.

More evidence that 1 side uses logic.

Will Hawaii County have to pay for Kealoha's legal fees?

Unknown.

I would say instead of the SUV thing, what about HI?  It would be illegal to have a truck gun.  Heck, it's even illegal to keep ammo in your car.

Hawaii County PD rescinds their letter to Kealoha to turn in all his guns.  Meaning they were wrong and lost.

Another win for the 2A right.

I remember seeing a video of him walking towards the back of the White House even though the Secret Service Agent was trying to show him the correct path to take.

The Agent was probably thinking "Hey Retard, where the f*ck do you think you're going...."

The SS agents are around POTUS and their family 24/7.  You know they talk amongst themselves.  There's a reason why many who were on the Clinton detail are no longer alive...

I just had the bread with peanut butter and jelly with hot hazelnut cocoa and mm candy.
The bread was terribly dry.
The cocoa had a funny smell.
The candy was a little stale.
Overall, everything was ok to eat considering that it was 11 years old. In a SHTF situation, I would be happy to have it.

This is what MRE's bring when SHTF, variety. Not only the main, but the sides they come with.  Compared to Mountain House or like entree's taht are just mains.Even with different mains, they get old very quickly due to no sides.

I new a guy during OIF and everytime he left the FOB, he would have just a MRE entree in his pocket.  His thinking is that you never know when you will be separated from your vehicle and need food.  He didn't carry the entire MRE due to the added weight, a single entree was good enough. Ounces=pounds.

The fact that he signed his sons one means he knows how to issue a pardon correctly.

Trying it in my carry optics setup. So far only 100 rounds to zero new optic and get used to the new setup.

A few shooting buddies also trying. One shot two matches with it so far and he really likes it. Very different than any other Glock trigger and lots of adjustability. I’m trying it how it comes out of the box for now.

So took 99 rounds to zero and 1 round to get used to new set up. lol.

I remember my first time zeroing my AR. Took about 30 rounds and I was still all jam up.  The uncle at the range had to me.

I mean, I read and watched vids how to do it, but it took much longer when doing for the 1st time.

Report on ARFCOM where security found a guests handgun in a Wynn suite.  Guest left their gun on the nightstand, went to dinner, then security confronted him and put the gun and ammo in their armory.  Suspected the maid saw it when preparing the suite for the night, or it was detected at the entrance weapons detectors, or both.

No issues except having to retrieve it from the armory and being escorted out at the end of his stay.

Wynn has no weapons detectors at their entrances. No hotel does, on or off strip. Some do xray your luggage if left with the bell hop.

They also don't use facial recognition software for people about this, nor do they mark your reservation with the hotel.  Or mark your RSVP for all future hotel stays.

I've had to check my firearm at various armories in Vegas hotels and they're really cool about it as it's no biggie.  Each hotel also has their own SOP.

Venetian/Palazzo will escort you off property once you claim your gun from their armory.  I was waiting for my ride to show up in the front of the lobby and the 2 guards were just hanging out with me.  They didn't rush me to leave.  They also weren't standing next to me, but like 10 feet behind me.  I've stayed multiple times since and was never asked if I have a firearm when checking in, was never asked when giving my players card, or stopped.  I even ran into the same security guard who escorted me off property 2 days prior and he never stopped to ask me about my firearm.

Planet Hollywood, I had to check my gun and remove the mag and clear the chamber.  When I claimed it back, the manager there said I'm able to load and holster (IWB).  Just do so pointing the firearm in a safe direction when loading and making ready.  They didn't escort me out.  I walked from the armory to the strip exit myself.

Why am I still living here.

At least HI insurance isn't as bad as Vegas. For the same car and coverage that cost $87/mo here, Vegas would be about $200/mo. They have way more uninsured drivers, hence teh higher premiums. Also, way more people running red lights due to the lights being longer.

If a similar situation happened on Oahu, will HPD deny? Officers show up at a possible domestic call. Find no crime. Just family argument. No arrest no report.

This is the problem with HPD, it should be automatic that it wont' affect your 2a right.  But since they do have a track record of making stuff up, it's unknown.

you would think 5-0 would know the laws better...
Why is there a need to know the law when they dont apply to them?

I believe the standard is not whether the person can convince others of what they believed, but instead whether or not a reasonable person in the same circumstances could hold such a belief -- that they are in danger of death, serious injury, rape, kidnapping, or sodomy.

It's impossible to prove or disprove an actual belief at a given moment.

An extreme example would be testifying you felt threatened by a 4' 5" 60-yr-old woman with a potato peeler.  The prosecution can't prove you didn't believe that, but was it reasonable?

Was it the pointy potato peeler that can stab someone with or the rounded one that cannot stab with?  Serious injury is defined as the laceration/puncture of an organ or loss of motor function.  The skin is an organ, so even the rounded one could slice someones skin (organ).  Then add in the potato peeler is diverted from it's intended use so now it's a "deadly/dangerous weapon".

I'm just messing with you.  I get what your example was saying and you are right "what would a reasonable person believe".

Oh, but what if I left my rifle "unattended" as in not secured........who's the criminal now.

HPD/LEO's are immune/excluded from many gun laws and even if they did break a law, they won't get prosecuted for it.

I like Larue Tactical: "if it's not legal for your voters to have, we won't sell it to you" (with regard to LEO agencies asking for stuff from them.)

Bump, just checking if anyone has any new info on this case.

Very curious to know if this homeowner qualifies for the "threat of bodily harm" in terms of his use of an air rifle against the lady who broke into his house.

It would all depend on what he told the police as why he shot her in the head.  Use of deadly force law, the shooter to claim self defense only needs to "believe" that they are in danger of death, serious injury, rape, kidnapping, or sodomy.

I don't think they believe Trump is a king, they fear Trump will try to become a king.

That too is dumb if they think this.

I saw a meme of Trump on the phone with Putin:

Trump: Hey Vlad, I bet I can get people who hate me to call me a king.
Putin: Bet
Trump: LMFAO, I win!

Firearms and Accessories / Re: The FBI Killed the Sig P320
« on: July 10, 2025, 09:33:46 AM »
That's been the problem this whole time.  No matter how detailed the reports of P320s firing on their own or when dropped, the problem can't be reproduced in any controlled setting.

in my profession, when a problem was reported, we didn't say "User is delusional," as much as we wanted to sometimes.  We just reported "Could not replicate problem.  Case closed pending new information."

If the same problem is reported numerous times by a variety of users, then we'd contact the vendors of the hardware and/or software to report the problem.  At least one time, a problem we reported to the Oracle database engine was initially classified as "not reported by anyone else."  A month later we received a patch for the database that was tested and supposed to fix our problem.

The biggest challenge with anything that is experiencing problems is that nobody -- and nothing -- lives in a cookie-cutter, identical environment.  You can't replicate a problem sometimes unless you can replicate the exact conditions that created the problem.  For example, on the AWACS aircraft, mission and training crews kept reporting keyboard problems that introduced errors during a 12 hour mission at least a few times an hour. Each time a report was made, the keyboards were inspected and tested by maintenance tor repair or replacement.  No hardware problems were ever identified.  Finally, one of the support officers decided to go up on a training mission with the squadron that had the most keyboard complaints.  After he landed and addressed the issue, no further keyboard problems were reported.

What he saw on the aircraft was a crew trying to type while wearing their flight gloves!  The gloves made fingers larger than the top surface of a key, so most of the crew were pressing multiple keys when they typed.  The fix was to temporarily instruct crews to not wear gloves when typing.  Additionally, an emergency request was made to Boeing to replace all mission crew keyboards on all E-3's with one that was tested to accommodate gloves.

It's not always easy to identify a problem when you have everyone except the right person working to solve it.

Reminds me of the time a M1 Abrams Tank turret was delivered to an aircraft carrier.  The captain of the carrier went to the deck it was on and asked WTF.  He read the order and it was marked "mission critical", so no one asked questions and it was delivered quickly.

He then spoke to the guy who ordered it and he put in the order for another mission critical part.  But when it got to the next guy who isn't on the carrier, he put a typo that was off by 1 digit and thus a tank turret was ordered and delivered. Maybe he was wearing gloves too. lol.
