There is a hearing tomorrow at 3pm, testimony is due 24 hours prior. you can also call your lawmakers. if you know anyone in DLNR, it might be good to call them as well. Sorry for the late notice, they tried to sneak this one under the radar. Even if you see this late there will be other opportunities to oppose this bill, just keep an eye out.
If this bill passes, you cannot take anyone under the age of 21 hunting, or target shooting. even though there are laws that allow you to loan a firearm to them, you cannot give them ammunition and they cannot possess or control any ammunition to use in the gun. Also, due to sb1230, if you get caught breaking this law, you can lose your right to possess and own firearms and ammunition for 20 years.
