I know it’s one permit per firearm but I am not sure about multiple permits/purchases as I just did a single permit. You can apply for multiple permits with a single visit. No online options. You have to pick up the approved permit(s) at HPD and register the handgun(s) in person at HPD.
Has anyone applied for a pistol permit without the gun’s serial number?I just did this on Wednesday (HPD open till 6:30pm on Wednesdays). I was told at the window that everything is done in person, no emailing of permit and no online registration. That was my understanding anyway so . . .
Do you have the option to have it emailed like the traditional way of applying with the serial number?
Or, do you need to pickup the no serial number pistol permit in person?
Can you still do online registration with a no serial pistol permit?
Thanks in advance.
I just recently purchased my first pistol a Glock 45. I got it basically for how it fit my hand but because this is the Glock 17 sized handle I’m debating on getting something smaller to use for the CCW permit.Welcome to the forum. Please don't take this as being condescending but what you are calling a "handle" should be correctly called a "grip".
The Glock 49 is the reversed dimensions with longer slide and shorter (Glock 19) size handle, and the slides are interchangeable between the two pistols.
If I got the 49 and switched to CC basically a Glock 19 would that be possible and legal?
My brother in-law wanted to see my revolver. So after I did a safety check I handed it to him. He immediately pointed it to the head of his wife.Is that your "sister in-laws husband"? Now I get it.
Re. Gilligan'sDid you know Mr. Checkers and Pogo Poge?
When I used to work in the TV business, my job was to load the reels of actual 16mm film for that show.
That's how old I am.
I know this is old, but what freight forwarding service will do it? Trying to put together an order for a few of us.Powder Valley uses Aloha Freight Forwarders to Honolulu, but I believe you are on Maui?
Does make sense. Usually your step the powder up a little when using lighter bullet for more velocity. One could stay within safer pressure with a lighter projectile and achieve higher velocityYep, my limited handgun reloading experience with published load data is less grains bullet, more grains powder.
is that Hawaii legal?Kaneohe Gun Shop sells them . . . not blocked.
Is a 4473 required?No.
I'm just trying to see if you meant what I think you meant and just jumbled the two phrases up.I knew what you meant and I also thought he meant what you thought he meant.
Unless would go with "will not be beneficial", and If would go with "will be beneficial".
Never mind. Range too far. Barrel too hot. Nuance too objective. Grammar too flexible....
no focusNo worries, we'll let it slide since you own no ARs.

Power Valley has 714 8-pound jugs of Varget in stock . . . $389.00 each before freight & hazmat. One hundred pounds of powder to Hawaii has a flat rate $450.00 freight / Hazmat fee. One 8 pound jug of Varget would be $425.99 landed. So is $53.25 / pound of Varget (x 8 for the jug) reasonable?
